A Message from Joe (the Plumber) [His new website]
Secure Our Dream ^ | November 7, 2008 | Samuel J. "Joe the Plumber" Wurzelbacher

Posted on 11/07/2008 5:58:46 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

Congratulations to Barack Obama. The American electorate has decided that you will be our next president. As I have stated, I will honor and support my president, but there will be no free ride. When President-Elect Obama takes office in January, his term of service to the American people begins. We wish our new president blessings of wisdom and good judgment, and we pray he hearkens to our voice if ever we feel our American Dream is being threatened. It will be a loud voice, so good luck trying to ignore it.

Since we have launched this website, tens of thousands of you have expressed your desire to join this movement. I am truly humbled by your support, your kind words of encouragement and your becoming a part of something that I believe we all feel can truly change the course of this country for the better.

For those of you just visiting this website, remember that real change in America will only begin if the backbone of this country becomes personally involved in demanding more from our elected officials, and by helping one another in times of need. This is our mission. This is our fight. This is our time to secure our American Dream.

I worked at the unemployment office as a veteran's career counselor and job search trainer for people on AFDC(welfare) for 13 years. If Joe was on welfare, he's one of the few married males I've ever heard of receiving it. My classes were full of females of different ethnic persuasions, but I don't remember any men. Oh, the classes were mandatory for ALL recipients.

I don’t understand why everyone on the right feels the need to congratulate The Zero.

Acknowlege his victory if you must (and even that is not necessary) and then move on.

You should listen to him on youtube he is really articulate for someone who isn’t approved by the harvard/yale georgetown cocktail circuit. He may be able to do great things for us.

Yes that, and he needs to sue bigtime for the illegal violations of his private records. The sooner he gets an attorney and gets some discovery to those Ohio gov boobs the better. Never again.

I agree with you, they usually put the guy (if single) to work, however, if he has a family I think they can put the whole family on welfare.....there are many articles (just Google Joe the plummer AND taxes) about his back taxes, the lien on his property, the fact he never was a licensed plummer, and never got a journeymens license to practice under someone else....as I said before, not a good example. I am a Viet Nam Era Vet and we had a lot of agencies to help us find work once we returned from active duty, dont know about good ole JOe tho.

The news of Joe's life was made public the day after McCain used him in a debate. What apparently you were not told was it was socialist government employees who did illegal background searches on government owned computers to dig the dirt on this guy.

I think he served in the military as well but of course that does not get any play and he finally got custody of his son.

WHY? Because Joe I would like to own a plumbing business asked that ONE about his tax plan. And that ONE forgot he was on camera and did not have his prompter in front of him revealed himself to be a Marxist when he praised wealth redistribution. Nobody was suppose to know what that ONE intends for Americans. And it seems the majority of Americans could care less.

I urge resistance right from the instant he is president.
Sorry man. I am a Happy Warrior. I accept that Barack Obama is the President of the United States of America. I will not lower myself to the level of those shrill Bush Haters. I don't think it does much for my cause when I behave like a hater. I will resist his new programs by supporting the loyal opposition. No one is more scared than am I of what a Obama presidency will do. That said, he won the election and until the next one he is my president. Until then I am going to put my best foot forward and begin the process of helping restore the conservative movement.

Look Happy, a Chicago Street Thug just got elected POTUS. It doesn't get worse than than. Yours is a losing stragedy. Do you think you are up against a group of ANGLO-SAXONS? We are up against SCUM OF THE EARTH. Don't forget that.
We go into a fight with Marquis of Queensberry rules and the DEMS come in with a Lead Pipe.
I've been down this road before and I don't like the pavement. This is a street fight and I don't like being on the losing end of a street fight. Remember stop bringing a knife to a gun fight and you might have a chance.
And for crying out loud stop knocking anger and hate. These are underrated emotions. Release them and draw strength from them. They can work to your advantage. Don't do anything stupid. Hate and anger can work to your favor if you know how to channel these emotions. This fight is not a game. It's for keeps. Again you are up against SCUM OF THE EARTH. Don't forget that. If you were down they would stomp you. Look at the way they treated Bush for 8 years. Look at the way they treated Sara. Never forget. Crush the LEFT!

Ronald Reagan is still MY president.

And mine as well. Im praying that another American Hero will emerge in the Republican party, with the insight, fortitude and values that the great Ronald Reagan had. Only then will America be truely as great a nation that it was when he was in office.

We need to find a "Joe" to replace most senate positions in 2010, I am calling for Duncan Hunter to run against Boxer here in Ca. Someone with some credo's please come to San Diego and get rid of Susan Davis, 'fraid we are stuck with Filner until an earthquake opens Imperial Valley to connect with the gulf. (solves the Salton Sea problem and gives us a new seaside resort) We must resolve the legal issues, acorn etal, and have a better idea where the Money is coming from.

the new congress will kill the newly approved offshore drilling will go away so we need to get back to pushing all involved understand that we cannot be dependent on foreign oil and allow a windfall tax on the oil companies. (I got a letter from Boxer and she took pride in the fact that she sponsored that bill)

Save the offshore drilling and Help Sarah open anwr
Its all about National Denfence, Drill for Oil Now

Yes it was FOX that had this segment on ole Joe......he’s also misinformed about what welfare really is...hardly the one to speak out on socialism..........

Colmes: Well, let me ask, you were on welfare once, was that taking somebodies else’s money and giving it to you?

Plumber Joe: Paid into welfare. It something to be used, not to be abused like it often is.

Spoken like a true wingnut. He’s perfect for FOX News. Colmes nailed him pretty good. He talks about his principles at the end of the clip, but really they are no principles at all, just the principle of a wingnut.

Jed has more:

So it turns out that when Plumber Joe was a child, he was on welfare, not once, but twice, and he credits it with helping his family ultimately lead a middle-class life style. He defends having received welfare by saying that he’s subsequently paid into the system.

Suddenly we have Joe The Reasonable, right? Well, not exactly. Plumber Joe has got something of a tax dodging problem. In the end, he’s just another typical Republican hypocrite.

I agree, I will never support O. I don’t care what other people think, but he’s the enemy and should be treated as such. If he’s not removed from power he will bring disaster upon us.

Yes he should have just starved and not received welfare. He was hardly looking for a hand out when he asked the tax question.

It is really good when pious people use Alan the viper Colmes to Alinsky decent Americans.

Good work, Joe! One day you’re standing in your front yard, dreaming of having your own plumbing business but having no idea how you will get there, and a month later you’re a media sensation with your own web site, a book about to come out, and a possible political career ahead of you. Only in America.
