I have heard from GOP operatives that PA is voting 2-1 McCain across the south and west with HUGE Republican turnouts in those areas. Combine this fact with Rendell’s “disapointment” with turnout in Philly. I think Barone may be onto something.

Also New Jersey isn’t all counted yet. If only a stronger Republican had been run in NC for Senate, also same in VA.

..Barone is the only one to listen to on Fox on election night...

Barone is the one making the calls and Fox called PA.

I’m listening to my Windham Hill:25 Years of Piano CD and Freeping...avoiding all TV. The only thing I wish I had done was pick up a bottle of Palin Syrah to drink. :)

Marston said they are foolishly calling NH and PA prematurely on exit polls. His comments below.

http://www.marstonchronicles.info/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=95&Itemid=119

Virginia is looking GREAT so far. Remember that the big cities usually get counted first as the counting centers are nearby. The rural areas have farther to drive so they come in later. Expect states with large cities to go for Obama-Biden at first. Miami is driving Florida so far and Philadelphia will drive Pennsylvania at first so hang in there. Unless you see the votes counted percentage over 50%, you are looking at only part of a state. THESE PEOPLE ARE CALLING PENNSYLVANIA FOR OBAMA-BIDEN WITH 1% OF THE VOTES COUNTED AND NEW HAMPSHIRE WITH 10%??? PASS THE KOOL-AID.

For those of you who have been following my prediction of a McCain-Palin landslide, here is my latest take. The original article was posted on November 2nd on Real Clear Politics and this one on November 3rd. they have been cross posted on a dozen more. The latest stats:

I think we should start our own news channel. Call it Open News Network or something (or "Initiative" - to exert pressure on the other networks). Let the difference be that every story on there is explicitly sourced, and every broadcaster and reporter's views and donations are disclosed somewhere, like on the website. Throw in a program whose sole purpose is to report on the other news channels' coverage and highlight what they're not telling you, again with specific sources, and you're gold.

With the exception of Hannity I know I am done with FOX.

Me too. After Hume and the so-called Fox All Stars claimed Obama won the final debate I was done with them.

So far, nothing’s changed from 2004. McCain now needs Florida, Ohio, NC, Virginia, Iowa and Colorado..or it’s (gulp) President Obambi. It’s a shame because I thought McCain spending so much time in PA meant he had a real shot to take it. He’s on defense the rest of the night. Unless they decide to take PA back, which doesn’t look likely.

>>FOX has been the only place that conservatives could turn to for unbiased news. Seems that in this election cycle, their slant has changed and conservatives are being left as orphans.<<

Baloney. I dumped TV in 1997. When I AM exposed to TV news I see all of them as liberal. Fox is just the “least liberal”. I get my news from the web. I am much more at peace since I dumped TV.

Seriously.

We’re going to be watching our Celtic Thunder DVD in a little while, watching a recorded episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives right now and sipping on a Pinot Grigio. Can’t bear watching the the returns - too much stress.

Screw them all. No matter what happens, I have a feeling this election won’t be over tonight.

Voter fraud is alive and well and I think challenges are inevitable.

Regardless, I hope a lot of the Obama voters suffer big time from an Obama presidency. Too bad the rest of us can’t completely escape it. But at least we won’t be shocked like some of these fools that think they elected Santa Claus.

I'm glad I decided not to tune in FOX today, which means I haven't watched any TV election coverage today. I'm counting on FR, and FR alone.

With talk radio and the web why would anyone waste their time watching the propaganda and yelling matches on tv? I gave up on tv news and most other programming about the same time as you.

We have to start tomorrow win or lose and be motivated instead of sitting back allowing things to happen.

I have had it with the excuses for Fox News — they are now worse then CNN when it comes to sticking it to Conservatives.

If we don’t take action, in four years we will be back in the same place. I am so disgusted with Fox News including calling it for OK while polls were open I could scream. What an unethical network to post numbers from FL when the SoS had them embargoed. Where did they get their numbers?

We need an investigation and a boycott of Fox News swarting NOW!
