This is part of all of the reasons why I’m not falling for the idea of a possible conservative comeback in ‘10, ‘12, and beyond. Leftists with all of the political power are always very dangerous! Leftists could decide to postpone any and all future elections from actually happening and then list all of these excuses why they are doing so. To all leftists, it’s always the Republicans fault, no matter what the problems are and even if they are completely out of power! It’s now or never for all of U.S. conservatism! Forever is too long of a time to be out of power, and U.S. conservatism really is headed in this direction with all of us being forced to see this actually happen!

but you don’t really think that 1/2 hour a night at the dinner table is going to “counterprogram” 14000 seat-hours in a public/secular humanist liberal school, do you?
Indoctrinate back. At Christmas, just tell her that you took all her Xmas presents and redistributed the wealth to some other more deserving child like Obama would have done.
Cruel but it will be a lifelong lesson she will never forget.

When my 9 year old asked my wife and I why we didn’t care for Obama who “cared about everyone”, first my wife layed the smack down on his pro-infanticide positions, and then I told him if Obama was president he’d have to divvy up his recently received birthday money among his sibling plus mom and dad becasue we all weren’t fortunate enough to have had a recent birthday. Back from the Dark Side he came.
Also, friend of mine who’s kids go to a catholic elementary school got wind that the principal was planning to hold a mock election. Rounding up some fellow parents protestations were made to the parish priest since there is only one moral choice in this election, and the priest put an end to any notion of a mock election.
Several neighbors with kids that go to the same school are voting for Obama. Talk about potentially killing your job security. They are pissed at me because my kids are telling their kids Obama supports infanticide, murdering innocent babies and cutting defense programs/manpower. My response after they were through yelling at me was “prove me wrong”.
Children hate abortion.
This reminds me of when my late dad took me with him to vote in 1992. He proceeded to vote for Bush-41. I, being young and naive, told him that mom said that Bush was evil and that he should be voting for Clinton instead. He simply looked at me and smiled, and told me, “Son, someday you will understand.”
Folks.....WHEN McCain/Palin wins this....it is up to US to start a VERY HEAVY INDOCTRINATION of everyone in our life.....as to why we are LUCKY we “missed a bullet.” Communism/Socialism/Marxism knocks on our door....we need to SHUT THAT DOOR and explain why!!!

No kidding! The child didn't know who the parent was voting for before election day, so obviously there have been no discussions at home.
Why let the schools fill a vacuum in your own kid's head? My kids have always heard my views. They know WHY I am voting the way I vote because I explain it to them.

They had mock elections at my daughter’s school and, thankfully after much prodding from me and her mom, she voted McCain. Final result at the school was 65% Obama, 32% McCain. I do live in Northern, New Jersey though.
