Read about Obama’s creepy plan to get pre-teens to join his movement here:

If anyone wants to *actually do something*, spread news of that plan to *general interest forums and similar*. Just posting comments here isn’t going to work.

I’ve been pushing that for a week, but unless a lot of people help nothing’s going to happen.

Only my second post, and I am terrified of posting in the wrong place (something called “vanity” that everyone seems to get their knickers in knots about) so I will put my little story here (where it actually seems to belong...). Okay, so my 15-year-old son gets in the car with me yesterday after school and asks me about the election. He asked me who I thought would win (he has been a bit nervous, with good reason), and I said I was now leaning toward McCain. He said Obama had won the school election, not a huge surprise, and he then says “but hey, I got a couple of votes for McCain today”. I smiled (tried not to look patronizing or condescending) and told him that was great. He says “NO! Seriously, I really did!” Since he is in a school where (hopefully) there would not be any 18-year-old kids, I had a hard time believing. He went on to tell me that he got into an argument with a girl at school because she was for Obama. He asked why, and of course, she had no real reasons. He then went on to expound all the real, sane reasons that Obama should NEVER be elected to such an office. After speaking for a while, she said he made sense and she was now a believer. She then went home to argue with her mother, who was also going to vote for Obama today because, well, apparently she’s a sheep. They got into an argument, and the girl gave her all the same reasons my son had explained. Later that evening, my son gets a text message that says “well, I talked Mom into voting McCain”. I realize this is completely anecdotal, but I do know that my kids are truly conservatives in every sense of the word (yes, they are 15 and 17) and they have no problem telling people exactly why. Even if it’s just one vote, he still made me proud by being able to back up his argument with cold hard facts, and, more importantly, NOT BEING AFRAID TO SPEAK UP! My son is also the reason I have many gray hairs now and why we had only 2 kids (he is the younger one). Every teacher he has ever had has told us he will make a fantastic attorney someday because he will argue anything (perhaps the “question everything” policy is not the easiest way to raise a child...). Not sure that’s a great thing, but I am glad he’s not afraid to stand up for what he believes is right (no pun intended). Sorry for the long post. I am known far and wide for not being able to keep a long story short... :0)
