A woman came into the KS Republican Party in Johnson County, KS to tell quite a story.
She had been shopping at a Walmart around 4:30 p.m. only to hear not one but two announcements come over their system, "Vote for Obama."
The woman immediately headed to the Customer Service counter to ask to speak with the store Manager but was told he was busy and unable to speak with her.
She then headed out to our headquarters to tell us what had happened.
I called the store and asked for the store manager but was told he was "tied up" and unable to speak with me but assured that I was speaking with his "assistant."
This woman knew exactly why I was calling and told me that they were "investigating" the incident and attempting to find out who had sent out the announcement but thought that the announcement had "originated from one of their phones in their parking lot by a customer."
I told the assistant that I found this story too difficult to accept that the store would allow any customer or anyone else for that matter, to pick up a phone in the parking lot and make an announcement over the Walmart PA system.
I also told her that this was NOT going to stop with her or the store manager making some lame announcement over their PA system now.
I told her that I was "taking this all the way to the top" as it was unacceptable that any Walmart store would be championing any candidate over their public address system!
Is this going on in any other Walmart around the country?
Great prices, but way too busy and 90% of the junk's made in China.
If you report this to the headquarters...the manager is toast.
Walmart is afraid of Obama because of Unions. If mangement hears about this he is fired.
I will make a few calls.
I HATE that I ever have to go in those places, and stay away as much as possible.

I went to my Wal Mart today and they don't sell firearms...Boooo! For some reason I got the urge to arm myself.
If its anything like our Walmart, I’m surprised they didn’t have kick line in the underwear aisle. I don’t go to Walmart anymore. I’m an American. I’m upwardly mobile.

Very easy and innocent explanation. Well, innocent on the part of WalMart. Lots and Lots of people know how to use Walmart’s PA system and often do. You can go look at the anti-Walmart sites and they have directions on how to use the store’s PA system, which by the way can be accessed from ANY phone in any Walmart. The Obamites are just the anti-business types to be surfing the anti-Walmart sites learning to do such childish things as propagandizing on Walmart’s PA system. I have the inside info on this and have personally heard punks and other Democrat types get on the system and say some pretty vile things.
Most everyone stopped and looked around and were quite irked. Especially my wife. The excuse we got was that they put the wrong tape in....yeah right.
A lot of people complained and I haven't heard of it happening since.
Having lived in Bentonville, AR for many years[home of Wal-mart] I can assure you they DO NOT SUPPORT Obama in any way.
If you know what extension the PA is on, just dial that number and you’re in control.
It’s possible. I once watched an employee and took note of the extension number.
That's why I call it China Mart.
If all illegals were deported tomorrow, Wally World would have to close at least 40% of their stores. :)

I doubt any Missouri voters were in the Walmart in Johnson Count.
As others here have said, it was probably a customer or a rogue employee. The manager could have handled it better, but he was probably in crisis mode. I’d not “have his head” for it - most likely it was out of his control.
