Just reported.
I don’t know; I’m just not sentimental. I wouldn’t wish anyone to witness Obama being elected (only by fraud could it happen anyway).
I am sorry about many things; but not that. Death comes to every embodied being; the important thing is not that death happens, but how a person lives their life, and who is their master at death.
Sometimes you see the hand of G-d at work.
I wonder if Obama will recluse himself with his family and his half sister and her family...instead of being at Grant Park in Chicago tomorrow night. Could his absence ‘calm’ and lessen the crowds...lessening the potential for rioting (when McCAin pulls this out).
My sympathies trully are w/BHO....he had a very fractured childhood...Mrs. Dunham was his stabilizing influence...may she rest in peace.
Condolences. It seems Obama was telling the truth about her condition.
Not to cast the passing of a love one of pure political theater, but this will help him a lot.
For the love of God, please have some respect, at least in this thread.
Please, people.
Missed those comments? What did he say?
I agree with you. My Dad died 2 months before my son graduated from HS and I so wished he could have been there. Even more so, when he graduated from college. Both my inlaws died within a year of my Dad and they would have been so proud too. When I heard her passing announced on the TV awhile ago, I thought even if McCain wins, the knowledge that her beloved grandson got as far as he did was probably a proud moment for her. And if Obama wins, she probably would have liked to have seen it.
I put politics aside at a time like this. May the lady RIP and condolences to the family.

I am truly amazed what I’ve seen in this thread.
He knew his grandmother was dead when he was flipping Mccain the bird.

Whatever she did or didn’t know about his birth, allegedly she and her husband had Obama registered at one Hawaiian hospital whereas Obama’s mother registered him at a different one. She might’ve cleared up why if the press could’ve asked her.
For the poor souls in Purgatory,
We pray to the Lord.
Lord, hear our prayer.
