Mike Carey, president of the Ohio Coal Association (OCA), today issued the following statement in response to just-released remarks from Senator Barack Obama about the nation's coal industry. "Regardless of the timing or method of the release of these remarks, the message from the Democratic candidate for President could not be clearer: the Obama-Biden ticket spells disaster for America's coal industry and the tens of thousands of Americans who work in it.

Really?
As long as they're covering it. I can't bring myself to watch the news today. So I'm glad to hear they are at least talking about it.
The miner’s unions who are Dem supporters can’t be too happy about this...they tell the coal miners to support Obama just as he’s telling them he wants to destroy the miners’ jobs. The Union leaders have got to be screaming right now!
can anyone tell me if the MSM is reporting on this??????>
Bump this link so the ratings will go up and more people will see it.
The Union will do anything the Boss tells them to do.
I hope they vote with their $$$/JOB in mind tomorrow.
Zero wants to kill your jobs
<< Man, Im praying this tips the scales! >>
I have definitely been joining you in prayer about that!
I hope they didnt early vote!

IIRC, states like Indiana that have early voting can allow one at recast a provisional vote which will nullify the original ballot. Hence, one can change their minds and replace their initial vote.
The quote about skyrocketing electricity costs should speak to every American’s pocketbook.
There is enough time that this will affect the vote in PA and to a lesser extent OH and even VA.
I agree. I said the other day, I'd like to see a poll of those that already voted and wish they could change their vote.
I really think this is why Obama was pushing the vote early mantra so hard. He knew things were going to come back to haunt him.
A good table of major U.S. coal producing states:
http://www.ket.org/Trips/Coal/AGSMM/agsmmwhere.htmlState
West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana (and Colorado!) are in the top 10.
I think 40 to 50% of electricity in the U.S. comes from coal. Obama wants to shut all this down because he believes in man-made global warming, along with the other liberal morons and Gorons. He also opposes nuclear plants.
Shutting down these electric plants would destroy our economy, and our country.
The McCain camp should by ads for every single commercial break on every affiliate in Colorado and Pennsylvania tonight just about this. Heck he should bring it up to Chris Berman on MNF tonight!!
ROTFLMAO at your “Mongo” picture!
bttt
“PA doesnt have early voting.”
Good morning, good news “bump”.
