No, smart*ss, I heard it on Fox News.
Please mind your own business. I have been here long enough for MOST people to know what I think and where I get my information, unlike you.
Only 27?
Coal is 50% of the US electrical production. This effects everyone and every product.
ping
He knows about it. 99.99999% chance he'll be all over this tomorrow.
“How do the dems propose to achieve energy indepedence? They are anti coal, oil, and nuke. Perhaps they have perfected the transporter?”
The democrat strategy for energy independece is quite simple and is based upon the concept that we can be energy indpendent if everyone will just use less energy. Of course, most dem voters are too stupid to realize that this means no cars, no airconditioning, no heat in the winter, no jobs, etc., etc.
The problem is the that the UMW (United Mine Workers Union) would still support Obama if he said he would outlaw coal and put miners in prison. The UMW is another socialist enterprise that does not lookout for its members in my opinion.
Can you imagine if there was a tape of Palin saying she was going to shut down the Alaska pipeline?
Do you think the media would care? You bethca they would. It would be 24/7 and end the election for the GOP.
Where are you LSM?
Good. That's coal country(SE Ohio) and usually a lot of democrat votes.
maybe this will finally be used as a reason for people to break the Coal union, and refuse to pay the dues. IMO one reason the coal industry has declined while they lined their pockets.
Know this and know it for a certainty: Carbon dioxide is plant food. Without it, plants wither and die. It is our OBLIGATION to increase carbon dioxide to the degree we are able, to aid our plant life on this planet to grow and extend to its maximum limit.
There is no climate “cure”, because there is no climate “disease”. We rely on carbon-based fuel, and the excess carbon dioxide merely goes into accelerated and extended plant growth. So long as we encourage plant growth at every juncture, by cultivation and land management, the content of carbon dioxide shall never rise above about 0.05% concentration in the atmosphere.
Plants require carbon dioxide to conduct photosynthesis, and greenhouses may enrich their atmospheres with additional CO2 to boost plant growth, since its low present-day atmosphere concentration is just above the “suffocation” level for green plants. A photosynthesis-related drop in carbon dioxide concentration in a greenhouse compartment can kill green plants.
I have notified Drudge that they need to link to Free Republic’s re-print of this story as the original link is not connecting or at least it hasn’t been for the last 45 minutes or so.
Rush will be on it. He has an army of news watchers on his staff.
Unfortunately, the people that listen to Rush are the same ones on FR. The trick is to get this news out to the unwashed, braindead morons.
Untrue. Rush's audience is vastly larger. That's how he can justify his latest 400 million dollar contract.
You know what? I think we need some politician to call for boosts to the nuclear industry, don’t you think...? Oh, wait...!
All that coal from West Virginia passes through the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. Word needs to get to those areas too.
As I said, not able to get there from Drudge either. Drudge site is okay but the link to the article from there behaves exactly the same way as the link from here: “HTTP 500 Internal Server Error The website cannot display the page” so I will try it again later. But thanks.
