the mass of rats who've come from under the woodwork and don't know anything about the issues and are voting because of the bandwagon effect....worries me.

Now just a damn minute! A lot of us ‘poor old people’ who have already voted are McCain/Palin supporters. So get your panties out of a wad and quite listening to those half-brained twits on the TV!!

People who dont know the issues and a basically ignorant are voting. They vote every election. There's no indication they're going to vote in larger numbers than before.

I guess that I should have done that.I was temporally stunned by his display of stupidity and was rendered speechless.

Fred Barnes tonight predicted a McCain win and said that GOP losses in the Senate will not be as bad as feared.
Given that Fred usually parrots the conventional wisdom, this is significant.

So far, we don't have a lot of evidence that they are voting in much higher numbers. A little. I can tell you our guys at the county level aren't worried about early voting.
But the flip side is analyzed here: "Congratulations, President . . . McCain"

I voted early and was in a long line, about a half hour wait.
Surprisingly, the line was not all geezers. They were there to be sure, wheel chairs, walkers and canes, but there were a goodly number of middle aged types as well. Before with early voting it was predominantly gray heads.

Thanks you for that. But it does not remove the fact that our Lord Jesus Christ’s spirit does not condone calling fellow human beings “rats”. I’m sorry, that is not a Christian statement.

Don’t be worried. Most of them voted for Pat Buchanan.

I do a lot of work with the “seniors” at my church and there are a great number of them who stood in line to vote early because they're afraid of trouble and intimidation at the polls on Election Day. I live in the most heavily Republican area of my state and we've had 3 hour long lines here, as well. All early voting is NOT for Obama.
