Fred Barnes tonight predicted a McCain win and said that GOP losses in the Senate will not be as bad as feared.
Given that Fred usually parrots the conventional wisdom, this is significant.

I thought last week “the Boys” predicted it was all over for Mac. Fred must have tuned in to Rush on Friday.

That is a surprise, I thought he had given up on McCain.
I had said in an earlier post that Barnes would be proven to be a fool on Nov.4th, but now I stand corrected, he will be shown to be a man with great political insight!
