Checks on 'Joe the Plumber' more extensive than first acknowledged
Columbus Dispatch ^

A state agency has revealed that its checks of computer systems for potential information on "Joe the Plumber" were more extensive than it first acknowledged.

Helen Jones-Kelley, director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, disclosed today that computer inquiries on Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher were not restricted to a child-support system.

The agency also checked Wurzelbacher in its computer systems to determine whether he was receiving welfare assistance or owed unemployment compensation taxes, she wrote.

Jones-Kelley made the revelations in a letter to Ohio Senate President Bill M. Harris, R-Ashland, who demanded answers on why state officials checked out Wurzelbacher.

From the story: The results of the searches were not publicly released and remain confidential, she wrote. Wurzelbacher has said he is not involved in a child-support case and has not purchased any business.

Not publicly released? So how do we know that his middle name is Joe and that he owes back taxes and that he isn't a licensed plumber? Also, why is Cuyahoga county looking into his records when he lives in Lucas county?

Jones-Kelley wrote that the checks were "well-meaning," but misinterpreted amid the heated final weeks of a presidential election.

Ah yes, the standard liberal excuse when they get caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

What she wrote: The results of the searches were not publicly released and remain confidential.

What she means: We didn't find anything damaging to Joe.

I sent an e-mail to that President of the Senate dude. I told him that Mort on Brit Hume’s show was having a tissy fit about Joe and the fact that his name wasn’t even Joe. This was the day the tape first appeared. And Mort also said he had voted as a Republican in the primary.

I was so shocked. I am sitting there screaming at my TV....how did you know that???? JERKS...anyway I told the President Senator guy that I thought it was obvious that the information didn’t come from the McCain camp, and everyone suspects the Obama campaign was in the middle of it and some investigating better be done and some heads better roll.

She donated the maximum $2,500 this year to the Obama campaign.

Hmmm. I thought $2,300 was the maximum. I suppose her check to the Obama campaign was "well-meaning".

I thought stuff like this was why people were afraid of the Patriot Act.

I guess libs only care if it is used against THEM.

And with friends like Khalidi and Ayers, we know exactly why...

Cheers!

Isn’t that the truth. I have access to databases that include but are not limited to wage date by SSN, Cross match wage data nationally, new hire national wage data and special investigative tools to look for reoccurring SSNs both state and nationally and 1099 information.

If I ever put in any social security number that I couldn’t prove I had a case assigned to me - I would immediately lose my job. No passing go, no collecting 200 dollars just straight to jail. The last state worker I heard about used the different softwares to investigate a Republican candidate running for election. Luckily at the time we had a Republican administration, I don’t know if this would have been the case if it was a democratic governor.

How come it is always a Democrat caught doing stuff like this? Is it because Democrats are so ideology driven that they are willing to do anything for the cause? Or is it that their ideology transends the laws? The old ends justifies the means argument that is typically Marxist.

I wouldn’t take a bullet for my party. I might for my country but the only time the left takes a bullet it seems the exact opposite. They are willing to take a bullet against their country.

A federal panel of judges ruled that Georgia can't use SS numbers to keep illegal aliens from voting. What's wrong with this picture?

I spent 13 years working at the Unemployment/Workforce department of another Midwestern state. She’s in BIG TROUBLE! Joe needs to file a civil rights lawsuit, pronto!

Heh, my first thought was, "Well, Joe is going to get the money to buy that business he wants, and all courtesy of an Obama-bot:-)"

Jones-Kelley needs to be terminated, and Joe needs to file suit, which I understand he has already been quoted as saying he is considering, is that right? Filing during the next few days would be to good effect.

Except Drudge doesn’t read anymore. He has skimpily clothed servants peeling grapes and feeding them to him, and professional smooth-voiced singers who sing the content internet pages to him, while he reclines in a custom made corinthian leather barca-lounger in his silk sponge-bob jammies.

Anyone have a phone number to call to demand this pinko be fired? I will call all day and night long until this is resolved.

The racist scum are not even in charge yet and they are putting the screws to the little white guys already.
