Flush with cash, Democratic candidate to saturate prime-time television tonight with multimillion-dollar ad buy
Barack Obama plans to air a 30-minute commercial Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on three major networks, as well as smaller outlets.
Coming just six days before Election Day, the purchase is one of the largest ad buys in election history. It will saturate the airwaves, even delaying the continuation of the fifth game of the rain-delayed World Series.
The Obama team bought time on CBS, NBC and FOX for about $1 million per network. The infomercial will also run on Univision, BET, MSNBC and TV One.

I’ll be watching yet another rerun of NCSI on the USA network. The most patriotic (only patriotic?) show on TV.
Talk about overkill
This will backfire big time on The One.
Idiot.

I feel doing that would be more exciting!
This is not in Obama’s interest to run this commercial. He will lose a good deal of votes over this.
Obama should have taken some marketing classes. There is a point when you oversell your brand and you begin to sow the seeds of contempt.

Rerun of Ghost Hunters on Sci-Fi.
Why do you think he’ll lose votes over his infomercial? I’m hoping you’re right but I’d like to know *why* this would make him lose votes.
Thanks.
I love that show.
See post #9.
Thank God for Tivo.
I had just checked the listings for tonight and noticed he didn’t buy ABC time - good - I’ll set my tv to ABC then - I had originally planned to turn it off, then decided to let it register me watching some obscure channel so they didn’t think I wasn’t home. Heck I may be reaching here - does cable record/register what you are watching?
Exactly, there does reach a point of overexposure.
I wonder if McCain should have a one minute commercial that alludes to how free Obamao is with his donors money and how he would do the same with taxpayer’s monies?
That would be very effective IMO.
Guess I know what time today the Wii-Fit will be in use.
This asshat's been running a 24/7 infomercial on every media outlet in the country for the past two years!
