Crist extends voting hours
This is a very big deal: Florida Governor Charlie Crist, to the shock and dismay of Florida Republicans, just moved to extend early voting hours, a move likely to widen the Democrats' lead under a program on which the Obama campaign has intensely focused.
"He just blew Florida for John McCain," one plugged in Florida Republican just told me.
This worthless RINO should be impeached.
Barring that, not one red cent from the GOP ever again should this POS decide to run again.
Ahhh, the scapegoating has begun. Nominating John McCain cost republicans the election. If he had not named Palin and energized a great number of conservatives, there is no telling how many points he would be down by now.
Why does this matter?
Maybe I am missing something here. Aren’t republicans allowed to vote early also? This isn’t going to give Democrats anymore votes than they would get normally, it is just ridiculous to say this. So Republicans vote late and this hurts them how?Clue me in someone this sounds like much ado about nothing.
Lots of really scary state polls out tonight...FL, OH. PA. I guess about this time next tuesday we will start to find out which way it’s really going to go.

Next week at this time DU, Kos and moveon.assholes will be crying in their beer and fainting from the shock of losing once again to people who don't want to slaves to a communist government.
It does not matter. Florida is giving everyone, not just Democrats more opportunity to vote.
Republicans work! Now they can vote after working hours!
You’re not missing a thing here. Longer polling hours makes it convenient for more people to do their civic duty in voting. Here in Louisiana polls will open at 6am and remain open until 8pm. It would be a beautiful thing to see 75-85% turnout.
This article is a load of crap. This just helps Republicans because we are the ones who work!
I was in a long early voting line yesterday and I’d estimate that it was probably 75% McCain. Why, because a worker in the SOE’s office was speaking loudly on the phone to a caller asking about an absentee ballot issue and when she said “we don’t have ACORN in Florida” everyone laughed. An Obamabot would have taken offense to that.
Don’t worry we’ll take FL!
I have seen no less than five huge groups of McCain supporters at intersections waving signs and flags at different times of the day and week. I’ve seen NO Obama supporters doing the same thing. Don’t worry!

Scary indeed....if you’re an Obama supporter. :)
A great elected official fight,
Charlie Crist and Chuckie Schumer trying to get in front of the same t.v. camera.
I doubt that 0bama would invite Crist into his administration. I also doubt that Crist extending the early voting hours will have any effect on 0bama’s chances here in Florida.
Crist is still a maroon and I still wish he had been chosen as McCain’s VP as a way to get him out of Florida.
Your are incorrect, river rat. We are a Democratic Republic.
No -- YOU are WRONG -- probably from too many years having your head filled with mush in public schools.
We are a Constitution-based federal republic; with a strong democratic tradition
If you doubt that -- check it out with our own Government at the CIA Information site.

If we had stayed true to the Constitution as written by our founders -- we would NOT have all the morons, criminals or non productive welfare leaches and yes.....women, voting for assholes like Obama.....
