Obama's birth certificate sealed by Hawaii governor

HONOLULU, Hawaii – Although the legitimacy of Sen. Barack Obama's birth certificate has become a focus of intense speculation – and even several lawsuits – WND has learned that Hawaii's Gov. Linda Lingle has placed the candidate's birth certificate under seal, and instructed the state's Department of Health to make sure no one in the press obtains access to the original document under any circumstances.

Who says he has a real BC? What he more likely has is a registration certificate filed with the Hawaii state government a few days after his birth in Kenya. (That could have been done under Hawaii state law.) The registration certificate probably indicates he was born in Kenya. There is also the possibility that the registration certificate shows a father other than Obama Sr. or "Father Unknown."

If the birth certificate is a non-issue, why didn’t Obama simply present it in the Berg lawsuit and make this go away? It’s been lingering out there for quite some time.

That is a big part of Berg’s lawsuit. He says his adoption and the regulations in that country he was required to give up his US Citizenship.

A document of that era is likely on microfilm... Awful hard to pull a switcheroo, but Obama could probably see if it is available (not lost or something)... If there is one... By doing this doesnt Lingle say that there is a Hawaii BC, and thus the Kenyaq thing becomes very wierd? Could he get a Hawaii BC and a Kenya BC ? Could he be registered in HI if born in Kenya, because his mom was a US Citizen?

Imagine how anticlimatic it’d be if she’d just released it now, a week and half before the election and it was just a normal Hawaiian BC.

I think she's saying: "there really is a genuine Hawaiian birth certificate. Now go focus on the stuff that can make a difference the election, like that radio interview where he sounds like the product of a relationship between Karl Marx and Chairman Mao."

What could be so damning in the birth certificate? Does it show he was born in Kenya? Is Frank Marshall Davis his father? Is an unknown man his father? I wouldn't think parentage is the issue; so that leads us back to - PLACE OF BIRTH.

I think you NAILED it. I am sure they have known what was on it for some time, Gov Palin and Gov Linle are long time friends (heck Lingle was there when Gov Palin went into labor w/ Trig). I have long been convinced of it. The fact they have not taken Os bait and raised the issue themselves means they know its legit and they’re not going to give him that “Aha, see the crazy lies the McCain campaign makes up!” moment. It’s been a game of chicken, and guess what- McCain won. Doubt has been sown in some minds and O will lose votes over it. At this late date, he can’t release the real BC after digging his heels in without looking weak.
