This is one of the few times I've ever done a vanity post since being a member of Free Republic.
Will you help us pass proposition 8 in Calif so that legal marriage will only be between a man and a women in Calif?
We need your donations.
The opposition has the support of the media, the teachers unions, millionaire celebrities, many major corporations, etc.
We have an uphill battle.
During this last week, we on the side of YES for proposition 8 need to raise more money to buy air time for our commercials or they will get buried by all the commercials trying to promote same sex marriage in Calif.

If Prop 8 passes, won’t some judge overturn it like judges have been doing all along for years?
Proposition 8 will define marriage as only between a man and a woman in Calif. Once that’s done the liberal judges can’t overturn it.
It takes a 50%+ majority to define marriage in the state constitution that marriage is between one man and one women. A judge can’t overturn the constitution.
In the future if the gays want to remove prop 8 from the constitution it will take a 2/3 majority to do so. They are decades away from getting a 2/3 majority to do that.
I thought Prop 8 was ahead. Has something changed, or is it just close?

Watch this video (link below) about a family in Massachusetts dealing with marriage being redefined in their state. Forward this to people you know living in California, Arizona, or Florida and states that have a marriage amendment on the ballot this November. In each state, a “Yes” vote is FOR Marriage.

And teaching this in schools is just one of the consequences of this amendment failing. Churches would be forced to marry same-sex couples against their beliefs or be sued and/or lose tax exemption. Charitable organizations, certain adoption agencies, and groups like the Boy Scouts of America that do tremendous good in our society will be forced to change their policies or close down... It’s started in MA. It’s at our doors. Please vote Yes on Prop. 8 in California, Prop. 102 in Arizona.
