I JUST MET SARAH PALIN

I just got back from an invitation only event with Governor Palin in Pittsburgh, PA this morning. She was announcing the McCain Palin pollicy regarding special needs kids. They will fully fund the federal mandates of IDEA and work to improve programs for special needs kids.

I got to meet her and shake her hand. I also got to see her in action... she was incredible with these special needs kids. She took time to talk to them, not just pose for a quick pic and move on. I laft after about 45 minutes after she ended her speech and she was still meeting with these families and talking with these special needs kids. She had Bristol and Piper with her. She took so much time with these kids and you could see that they kids were excited, but moreso the parents were so thrilled that she would do this.

One young girl with downs asked for an autograph. Governor Palin. Talked to her and asked her her name. She asked her to spell it for her so that she would do it right... then wrote a message (I couldn't see it) then signed her name. Then she called Piper over and introduced her to the girl and Piper gave her an autograph, too. (It was very cute).

What I saw was genuine. It wasn't political glad handing. I pulled my client (the director of a local Autism organization) to the front and got Governor Palin's attention so they could meet. She spoke with my client for a few minutes and gave her a hug, thanking her for her work for autistic kids. My client was still shaking when I left.

Color me green with envy. You are lucky. I live in Southwestern Pa and wish I could have been there. I wish she would make an appearance at my sportsmen club. That would be awesome. Shoot some trap Sarah!!

They will fully fund the federal mandates of IDEA and work to improve programs for special needs kids.

We don't need more spending on ANYTHING.

I like the Gov but SPENDING; FULLY FUNDING; whatever you want to call it, has got to stop for everything the feds do that is outside their constitutional authority.

Piper’s a mini-me to Sarah.

After Sarah’s done in public office, after her two terms as VP and two terms as POTUS,

look for Piper to be walking in those footsteps.

The dirty little secret is that liberals want these kids dead. To them, they don’t deserve to live. So many are not born.

My 11 year daughter met her in Richmond. She wanted her autograph and muscled her way through a crowd and got it! She said that Palin was very nice, smiled at her and told my daughter she had pretty hair. Extremely nice, polite woman.

She was on while I was FReeping earlier. She had new glasses on, and her hair looked a little ragged this morning.

She is a powerful speaker, a real dynamic personality, that isn’t abrasive.

Very good. Congrats!
