The question regarding Barack Obama’s eligibility to run for President based on questions regarding his status as natural born United States citizen has reached the Hawaiian Supreme Court. Illinois journalist and Democrat politician, Andy Martin, has asked the Hawaiian Supreme Court to entertain an emergency writ expediting the release of Senator Barack Obama’s birth records.
For months there has been speculation about Barack’s birth status among other issues associated with his birth certificate. This has been helped along by the campaign’s reluctance to produce uncontestable records of the Senators birth and status as a natural born citizen of the United States. When the Obama campaign did release a scan of Obama’s birth certificate its noticeable lack of an embossed seal among other inconsistencies with proper Hawaiian birth certificates simply fueled the speculation of critics.
The Hawaiian Supreme Court now has the opportunity to answer these questions once and for all.
There has been no shortage of theater surrounding Andy Martin’s actions at the Supreme Court. In the same week that the request was made by Mr. Martin, Associate Justice Steven Levinson announced his surprise retirement from state’s highest court. While he explained his actions by saying that his “batteries needed recharging”, court watchers are theorizing on the significance of the move and what it may be telegraphing in regards to the Martin request to open Barack’s birth records. Justice Levinson will be serving until the end of the year.
Presidential candidate Barack Obama has also indirectly interjected himself into the situation. During the same week that Mr. Martin’s request was made to the Hawaiian Supreme court, Barack is suspending his campaign for a few days in order to visit his sick grandmother in Hawaii. Unnamed sources claim that he is bringing along a team of lawyers on this visit to an ailing relative. The Obama campaign has not yet answered our query regarding whether Barack has brought a legal team with him to Hawaii.
A decision by the Hawaiian Supreme Court is expected before the election. We will report on that decision when the high court makes its ruling.

Andy Martin has no standing to ask the Hawai’i Supreme Court anything of the sort — it’s a publicity stunt and will get dismissed in a blink of an eye.
Berg’s suit is similarly flawed, except that we was clever enough to have pointed out that he is potentially injured as a victim of a fraud perpetrated by the DNC.
Maybe he is waiting for ACORN to produce one!

I really tried to understand this. Why does this matter? If his Mom is a citizen doesn’t that make him natural born regardless of certificates? Sorry for being so slow.

Most liberals that I talk to dont seem to care if hes a citizen or not, and apparently its not an issue with Mccain either, or he would have been hounding this issue from the start. One silly peice of paper could end it all for obama and the loons. Doesnt Obama have any enemies? Ya think someone would spill the beans on this guy. The fact that it’s even an issue (whether the court is liberal or conservative) speaks to how screwed up this country has gotten. Well... how screwed up the left has gotten. Liberals care not a whit about what’s right, only about what benefits them and their fellow travellers.
