We've learned Dolores Hope, wife of the late Bob Hope, was rushed by ambulance from her San Fernando Valley home at around 2 PM this afternoon. We're told she may have had a stroke.
Dolores, who is 99, was married to Bob for 69 years.
She was taken to St. Josephs Hospital in Burbank.

She was born in New York City, raised in the Bronx. She is of Italian and Irish descent.
She met Bob in a night club of the era, "The Vogue", where she was singing.
She and Bob adopted four children at The Cradle in Evanston, Illinois.
In the 40's she began helping Bob on his tours entertaining our troops overseas.....and she would continue to do so for over the next 50 years.
RIP, Dolores Hope, and thank you for your service to our country.

I hope for the very best for her. Whatever happens she was given many more years on this earth than most of us. I can’t recall what it is exactly but there is some charitable organization on Eglin AFB which is name for her.
