I also heard an interview this morning: If ANYONE ELSE CAN GET IT

Powell basically said that Obama will surround himself with experience people due to obamas Inexperience...

Than he goes on to trash Palins Inexperience for President...

I agree...in fact I think something will come out this week to verify that Obama is indeed a Muslim.

Reading all these blogs I thought maybe it is just hype, but you have to think something is cooking.

Where is the 160 million McCain has ...what is he waiting for?

What is it that Dave Ramsey said we must wait for?

What happened after Hannitys interview with Corsi....then nothing?

So Colin Powel is afraid Roe V Wade will be overturned? What does he have against black children?

The lack of knowledge by this assclown is just incredible.

He's basing his choice on a very rosy, "transformational, trans-generational" assessment of the future. You don't pick Presidents for the best of times...you pick them for the possibility of the worst. Country First.

This endorsement confirms Colin Powell to be no leader and nothing more than a weasel bureaucrat.

A bureaucrat will kiss every ass and stab every back while trying to advance themselves. Colin Powell is trying to jump on the Obama wave. It is sad if you examine it past the headline.

“And even Fox News is constantly saying “it’s proven that he’s not a muslim”. I think Powell just proved that he IS a muslim.”

I think Powell just proved that he IS a muslim????

Powell is in the know, and he knows more than you and I....guaranteed. A man like him makes few mistakes.

Don’t hold back, Bedford, tell us how you really feel. Good one. The only thing that angers me more than this is, I have no doubt there are prominent members of the Republican Party that will still associate, pal around with and value this guy’s friendship.

He’s transformation alright.

Powell figures Obama will help transform him from a millionaire to a billionaire.

...trying to undermine the 2nd amendment

Trying to undermine? Geez...there's a generation coming up that believes the 2nd is about hunting and there are only about 12 million hunters and who'd wanna hurt a bunny anyway?

Good riddance of Powell. He showed his true color

He showed his true color (no pun intended) long ago:

Et tu, Colin?

Caesar was stabbed, in the end, by one of his closest and most loyal friends, Brutus. And George Bush was betrayed throughout the course of the entire Fitzgerald inquisition by his one time friend and close confidant, Colin Powell, who knew all along the involvement of Richard Armitage, and chose to keep quiet. Loyalty runs between many extremes.

...snip...

With Colin Powell, as with Mr. Armitage, loyalty has finally gone the way of the Model-T. And sadly, Mr. Powell's damage will be enshrined forever by the left in what appears to be their longest running hit piece of modern times. Et tu, Colin?

Thank you Colin, for reminding us yet again what this contest is all about.

The best reason yet to vote for PALIN/McCain.

"If J.C. Watts was on the ticket it wouldn’t be conservative. He’s the next “black Conservative” to endorse the chosen one."

OOPS! sorry about that..."I screwed up!" You're correct, J.C. is 'trying' not to endorse anyone because he is sort of 'clergy' now and acting 'above all the sides and partisan bickering...blah, blah, blah'

He may remain unspoken in the endorsement game, but it does now seem a skin game...throw conservatism away and endorse the black guy.

General Powell has abandoned his sacred oath of service to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

It appears to be a consistent theme among the obamunists. During the last debate when questioned about Supreme Court appointments, obama failed to even mention enforcing the Constitution as a consideration.

This is a disgrace.

And to think... I actually admired you back in the day.

Shortly after Clinton was elected, I wrote Kemp-Powell '96 in the dirt on the back of my truck canopy. That was kinda based on Powell's squeaky-clean, do-no-harm, eye-candy appeal in getting Kemp elected. Nice to see him dismiss Palin as the same. This guy's a political wind sock...nothing more. Who cares who he'll vote for? I never heard the word "endorse." He must think his guy needs a little boost this late in the game.

Why doesn’t it surprise me that Powell would disappoint? I’ve sensed he was a weasel for a long time now.

“IMHO he was an Affirmative Action General because he was not bad looking, a good talker, could schmooze well with people in the right places, etc.”

The first black POLITICAL military officer in the U.S. military.

I remember him pussy-footing on TV during the first Gulf War. I remember kicking a palletized cargo in Camp Pendleton while cussing (no one around, thank God) about these politician-officers in a position of conducting the war and its aftermath.

Very political, indeed. His endorsement just proves what he is made of. And lot of it on the surface.
