New Ohio Survey Shows More Than 54% of 'Main Street' Business Owners Will Vote McCain/Palin was posted 10 days ago, October 07, 2008 story posted by FR Bobkk47

Uptick helped because of spotlight on Joe -54% to 62%?

Obama's attacks on Joe? is an attack on the American Dream? Why would Goliath want to bully, discredit, humiliate and incite hatred on little Joe? Joe didn't seek out Obama, Obama placed the spotlight on Joe. Joe was just planning a dream and doing his due diligence. Fair question?

By the way, Gov. Palin while visiting Bangor, ME on Thursday added Jane to Joe, covering all those building their American dream.

Joe will appear on Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee’s talk show, Saturday night. According to FOX, “Wurzelbacher will be giving his first in-studio interview since he burst on the national political landscape after questioning Barack Obama’s tax policies during a rally in Ohio, where Wurzelbacher "works" for a plumbing company.”

Was just thinking.....If the Obama's are suddenly faced with making that dreaded 3 a.m. phone call to a plumber, will Joe or Jane Plumber analyze the situation, the costs and benefits of taking any action?

Emergency calls to a plumber are far more expensive than good preventative maintenance plumbing. And no American should go without plumbing care.

I’ll tell you what. We have a small business. If Obama’s taxes take hold, we will probably shut down.

Change that to ‘Josephine the Plumber’ (Boy, am I showing my age!)

Rush had a caller the other day from a small businessman, and he said that he and a number of his friends who own small businesses, already have plans in place to start downsizing if Obozo the Marxist Clown is elected.

The economy will go into an accelerated tailspin just on the prospect of his presidency, even before he even takes office, if the fruitcake wins the election.

Downsizing will not help, that 250k threshold will come down to 100k before he is sworn in.

In a TV interview years ago, Anne Murray, the singer, was asked how it felt to be a "star." Her response was:

"Stars ride around in limosines and aren't important. When people have a problem, they don't call "stars."

Plumbers ARE important."

Why wouldn’t they belong to the party they think is going to help their business in the first place?

Plumbing care is a basic human right. Everyone should have taxpayer funded access to it.

Lost in the backround noise and clutter is Nancy Pelosi. She will make the laws and Barack will sign them He will be lame duck from day one because Nancy will usurp his power.

Don't worry about the powerless president. Worry about the all powerful Prime Minister.

I work for a fairly large company and even we are asked to think in terms of our company’s future and our jobs. It was said to us very clearly by our executives, some very liberal, that Obama will tax the Hell out of them company such that at least a layoff is likely.

My husband and I work for a very large company. We received an e mail from the President of our company also specifically mentioning taxes as his concern.
It is obvious to me what will happen in our company of 0 wins.
And more than half (I work in PA) of the folks I work with are 0 folks.
Yet there is some hope. One lady approached me today in our cafeteria and asked me who I was voting for.
I told her McCain, but said so very softly. (We aren’t allowed to talk about politics at work, against company policy.)
She also answered softly that she was voting for McCain.
I was surprised and asked her why? (She’s a democrat.)
She said 0 scares the **** out of her!
Scares the **** out of me too!!

**62 percent of small business owners said they would cross party lines this year to vote for the U.S. presidential candidate that they feel will do the most to help their business.**

Which means they will vote McCain-Palin!

This survey doesn't make a lick of sence. They are saying that 100% of these business owners normally vote Democrat? Or are they saying that of Democrat small business owners, 62% all of the sudden saw the light?

Or because this article doesn't really say who they are planning to vote for... does it say that 62% are considering switching to Democrat and voting for Obama? This article is the worst mashup of vagueness I have ever seen!
