Read this…
1. The Secretary of State of Ohio Jennifer Brunner filed a request in the Supreme Court relating to the underlying claim in her state that there has been voter registration fraud…with ties to the work of ACORN in registering voters.
2. A group — the Service Employees International Union [SEIU] — filed an amicus brief in the United States Supreme Court asking the Supreme Court to rule with the Secretary of State of Ohio (and essentially asking for a ruling that would be favorable to ACORN in that it would “call off the dogs.”)
3. I thought it curious that SEIU would file an amicus brief for Brunner and did some quick research …and now I need more indepth research (which is where YOU come in.) According to my quick research..the same person who started ACORN, started SIEU. His name is Wade Rathke. So then I wondered, who is Wade Rathke?
4. I did some really quick research and learned that Rathke was a member of the anti war group SDS. This is where YOU come in again. If you know 60’s history, you know that the Weather Underground was an offshoot of SDS. There was some disagreement in the late 60’s and members of the SDS - Bill Ayers and his wife - left and formed/ joined the Weather Underground.
So now I am wondering: do Rathke and Ayers know each other (from SDS / Weather Underground days)? what is the connection now, if any, between them? between ACORN and SEIU? between them and Senator Obama?

This looks like an incipient leftist coup. Meanwhile, neither the Ohio Secretary of State nor the Ohio Attorney General want to enforce the law. It resembles a coup d’etat in Ohio, too.
Well, at least someone in the MSM is paying attention. It’s such a shame that “journalists” these days have COMPLETELY forgotten about “Journalistic Ethics”. I’m guessing the Ethics curriculum is missing in the schools these days?

In the spring or fall of 1967, I don’t remember just when but it was that year, I attended the formatative meeting of the SDS at Goddard College in Vermont. I always remembered the names Tom Hayden and and Ayres and now that Wade Rathke’s name has popped up I recognize where I had heard it. May be some Freeper can check the Goddard College newspapers from that year.
I only attended one meeting and then figured out that things were just too over the top for me. As a side note, in the mid-80’s I needed a “clearence” that involved a very through background check. The people who needed to know about my background produced a copy of the paper that I had signed at Goddard! OMG! If they could do that then, they can get ANYTHING they want about Obama

More connections between Ayers, Obama, ACORN, the Sec. of State in Ohio, and now an organization, SIEU, has filed an amicus brief with the Supreme Court basically requesting that they side with the Sec. of State and “call off the dogs” when it comes to the fradulent Registration investigations of ACORN, and the state requiring her to disclose information...
The kicker? Wade Rathke, the founder of SIEU, is a former SDS-member from the 60s and the Weather Underground split days... Rathke is also the founder of — yep, you guessed it — ACORN!!!

Wade Rathke is actually the BROTHER of the man who founded ACORN - Dale Rathke. According to this NY Times article which appeared in July 2008, back in 2000 Dale embezzled ONE MILLION dollars of ACORN’s money and they apparently handled it INTERNALLY - not alerting Federal Officials.

I was in college during the time the SDS were pressing their muscles. I was the President of the college Young Republicans and a member of the Young Americas for Freedom.
I was politically ambitious and rose to the midwest leadership of the young Republicans. We had many confrontations with the SDs/ We had heard that they formed a bond to continue their wicked work as long as they lived.
We too took an oath to do our best to promote our causes. WE did our work legally. Our group included future Governors, congressmen, an advisor to President Reagan (James Scott Brady), ad visors to governors, state legislators, and while our best days are behind us, we are still working where we can.
My point is, that while I have no direct knowledge of a Rathke/Ayers connection, I believe that from their questionable behavior, the proof of their pledge to the cause is certain.

A pledge like that wouldn’t surprise me at all — especially from a group that spawned Ayers and his group. They would’ve needed a pledge that was binding such as that to even have a chance at carrying out their plans...
It reminds me of when many of us were warning Bush that Putin was STILL a Communist! And, incidently, Putin was quoted as speaking to a COMMUNIST PARTY meeting just last week (they’re back, and not pretending anymore). He has also called for putting back together “OUR UNION”!
Just as back in the 60s these groups had ties to Moscow, and Cuba, I wouldn’t doubt that they STILL DO. If you look at the causes and the people surrounding Obama, my “wild conspiracy theory” of the Communists and Islamo-Fascists working together to take down the US becomes more and more plausible.
Just add in the connections in Kenya (Odinga & the Islamo-fascist genocidal “muscle” he used to gain power), Indonesia, Venezuela & Chavez, Iran, Syria, Hamas in Lebanon, Hezbollah in the Middle East AND South America, etc... and you will clearly see we are not merely up against Obama in this war (and it IS a war), but we are up against some VERY determined groups whose goals have not changed in decades (centuries when you take into account the Islamo-Fascist ties). This election is but one “battle”, IMHO.
These people haven’t changed a bit, IMHO. Ayers may not be setting bombs off, but it’s not like he’s not still working for the same goals - to take down the U.S. and destroy Capitalism. He is STILL a Communist Revolutionary, and I don’t think it would take much to push him back into his old ways - he’ll just let the “youngsters” do the “work” for him now...
