Mrs Dole voted against the bailout bill.
One of the few who knew what was right.

God Bless Elizabeth Dole.

Yep, the Republican Party is STUPID, and a bunch of chicken-shits -mostly RHINOS- who are TERRIFIED of the MEDIA , and govern accordingly. Why, I will never understand, because the media will NEVER be their friend or like them.

Honey, if you get all upset, the curl will fall out of your hair and you’ll get wrinkles. Have a Restorative, and then a lie-down with the blinds drawn, and I’m sure you’ll look stunning at the barbecue tonight.

My understanding too is that Spineless Lott’s Senate seat could go Democrat on Nov. 4 though that is not certain.

When are McCain, Obama, and Biden going to resign from the Senate like Bob Dole did?

How about the Governor of Alaska?

Hear hear, Liz. But do you know what also infuriates me? The fact that the GOP (and McCain, in particular) hasn't been raising holy hell about this fact during the campaign. Most of the electorate believes that the financial crisis is a direct result of "Bush's policies," having no idea that the Dems repeatedly blocked Republican efforts to rein in Fannie/Freddie. Unless they're made aware of the facts SOON, Obama will win. ...and we'll all lose. So there has to be an all-out concerted effort along these lines, not just an occasional mention.

The Democrats instituted a system of coerced transfer of wealth into urban populations.

That is is central to the current economic implosion.

-- - plus - "they added 150 billion $$ worth of sweetners" --

She voted FOR those sweeteners a week earlier, in H.R.6049. Now she's objects to it, on account it's attached to the bailout? I call BS. She was FOR the pork.
