Listening to Rush? When is it our turn to say enough (Rush used riot)?
Rush Limbaugh | 10/10/08 | Rush

Posted on 10/10/2008 10:14:16 AM PDT by mek1959

Anyone listening to Rush? As you just heard, he's asking the salient question; when is it our turn to riot (playing off Carville's comments the other night).

I’ll be lucky if someone holds a place for me!!! I’ll be coming from MI. But I’ll do my best. All we need is a piece of land and an electric hook up!

The media gives Bill Ayers a pass for his past activities against the US Government and his statement that he could be willing to engage in such activities again.

Certain catalysts would, in my opinion, serve as a suitable tipping point to a modern boston tea party. If Obama silences free speech or tries to take our guns away, it just might push some of us to demonstrate in old school style. The key difference between our style and libs' style? It wouldn't be other citizen's personal property we'd trash and burn in the streets, it'd be our own that we would sacrifice to make the point.

For instance, imagine the Obamination passes the fairness doctrine through a filibuster-proof Senate. Imagine freepers everywhere meeting at predetermined stoplights in the center of their towns at a predetermined time, ripping out their own car radios, and all at once throwing them into the street to be lit simultaneously. Disruptive? Yes. Make a point? Yes. Respectful of other people's private property? If done right, then yes.

Even if Obama loses the Left is primed for a civil war over “another stolen election”.

Would a million people marching on Washington DC send a message?

We need a community organizer to help us protest!

I disagree. The nearest next fight the US will find itself in will be protecting our border cities from spillover violence from the Mexican drug wars.

It seems hard to believe but eventually the Mexican government will swallow it’s arrogance and either directly or indirectly ask for US intervention.

I can believe that. The drug cartels in Mexico are a government unto themselves.

We don’t riot. Rioting is counter-productive. But we do get fed up. And we do have the same rights and power that anybody else has.

When hard working people are out of work and have lots of time on their hands, they will go public with their displeasure. I predict the unemployment rate will go over 10 percent by the end of Obama’s first year. Our culture will be on the verge of collapse, and people will get angry. This will be the first time in America’s history that we will have a leader who hates us and all that we stand for. Times will be interesting. We should avoid it all.

IMHO- Conservatives of which I am one will not really do anything more than whine about losing our country to socialism.

Just look at what has happened recently. The nationaliztion of large segments of our economy and nothing but posts. And talk of increasing taxes and even more nationalizations and what, nothing. Oh wait one guy said something to McCain and everyone said, “yesh, what he just said”.

So the Marxist/socialists/communists understand we will just keep going to work and doing nothing as everyday we are made slaves is ever increasing ways.

Re-education camps, boy I hope they teach me how to spell, but considering I am a product of public education and thw camps are really just public education I guess I really no concern.

You forgot to list the “buildup” to this...

Acorn, Obama and the democrats were uniquely responsible for the ground game in subverting the mortgage industry and by extension, the credit and banking industries. Acorn, Obama and the democrats are responsible for the voter fraud that has been inflicted on this country for YEARS now. How many people hold office today that were NOT legitimately elected?! How many?! Quite few I would wager.

Look where we are... A crumbling economy. Threats of rampant socialism. Evidence of MASSIVE vote fraud of EPIC proportions! A national media reminiscent of and second only to the NAZI propaganda machine, indicating polls that DEFY LOGIC! And they are using the manufactured “economic crises” to legitimize results that are illegitimate.

Yes, this IS a coup attempt. The economic crises is the “Reichstag fire”!

Well guys... Every reason I ever heard anyone ever give for not DOING something about the cancer that infested this country (socialists) is being burned as we speak. your safe little 401ks, your savings, your Jobs, your cushy little lives are being burned by the people who are attempting to rule and subvert this nation and its constitution.

What are the excuses now for doing nothing?

How much more proof do YOU need?!

I am worried about riots if obama doesn't win. Everyone I have talked to believe it will happen, and most are ready.
I also believe the government is worried to and all ready prepared. I believe that we will have riots like France had last summer with the Muslim yutes, Only worse because the militant gangs here are well armed.(illegal guns).

He's mentioning riots because it has been said that if Obama loses there would be some from Obama followers.

=)

nope..

The steps being taken to illegitimately win this election are what constitutes the coup attempt.

At some point all the media bias, voter fraud, manufactured economic crises go beyond the normal “electioneering” and become something more insidious.

Well.. I do believe that threshold HAS been crossed and this is no longer an election, it IS an attempt to illegitimately obtain power over the controls of government.

“I told my wife last night I’d love to see the Joint Chiefs of Staff pull a coup. Problem is we don’t have any “George Washingtons” or “George Pattons” in uniform.”

Paging General James Mattoon Scott - please pick up the red courtesy phone!
(apologies to Rod Serling and “Seven Days In May”)

Here’s an honest query for anyone reading:
Let’s suppose, for the sake of argument, that Obama wins, and that both the House and Senate go overwhelmingly ‘rat this November, along with a filibuster-proof ‘rat majority in the Senate.

And let’s suppose further, that - not too long afterwards, Obama & company begin to dismantle the American military _and_ the foundations upon which our economic system is based. I have no doubt that they will _try_ exactly that.

If that happens, will you still consider the president and the Congress to stil be the legitimate government of The United States under the Constitution?

If not, would you support attempts - even attempts “outside of traditional methods” - to restore the country as such?

Just askin’....

- John
