DNC steps in to silence lawsuit over Obama birth certificate

The man suing Sen. Barack Obama and the Democratic National Committee for proof of Obama's American citizenship is outraged that his own party – rather than just providing the birth certificate he seeks – would step in to silence him by filing a motion to dismiss his lawsuit.

As WND reported, prominent Pennsylvania Democrat and attorney Philip J. Berg filed suit in U.S. District Court two months ago claiming Obama is not a natural-born U.S. citizen and therefore not eligible to be elected president. Berg has since challenged Obama publicly that if the candidate will simply produce authorized proof of citizenship, he'll drop the suit.

Berg told WND the longer the DNC tries to ignore his lawsuit or make it go away – instead of just providing the documents – the more convinced he is that his accusations are correct.

Good point. It doesn’t matter where he was born. If his mother is American he is an American. Did she renounce her citizenship? Methinks so.

There is something odd here. A birth certificate would be simple to produce in this case. It should made public for every candidate for president and vice president as a routine matter.

Why were they risking Federal time?

The real reason there was a break in to the DNC HQ was twofold:

1) Obtain proof that the Teamsters Union was laundering money through the DNC,

2) Obtain proof that John Dean's wife was running a prostitution ring from the DNC HQ.

The Watergate burglars GOT THIS PROOF. If Bernstein and Woodward had not done their hack political job on the Republicans today's political climate would be MUCH different. They are partisan hacks.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Berg may be a crackpot, but the reactions of the Obama campaign and the DNC to his lawsuit sure looks fishy. A few kernals of truth hidden in this situation may in the end make popcorn. Wouldn’t that be interesting?

It is sooooo interesting to see the rats eating other rats, and our side ("pubbies") can just stay out of the kitchen or on the sideline, while the dims are making incredible fools of themselves!

If Mr. Berg wins this one, it would have a very negative result on the trustworthy of the democRATic party years to come!!

I think the big question at that link is, the dual citizenship? The time line? Where was he born? When did he live in Kenya? When did he live in Indonesia? Having been a citizen of Indonesia, did he EVER swear an Oath of Allegiance to the USA when he reached age 21?

I think the foreign citizenship and not having taken the Oath of Allegiance, may be his 'problem'.

If just one state would decide that he does not qualify as he is not a natural born citizen, would that create enough of a controversy between the states to set up original jurisdiction with the Supremes?

If one state decided that, it could start a domino effect. He'd have to start worrying about electoral votes then.

The founders’ intention was that POTUS be possesssed of UNDIVIDED LOYALTY to the United States, hence the natural born citizenship aspect. But Hussein has demonstrated in all of his words, writings, actions, Logan Act violations, associations and collaborations with anti-American figures over the years, that he is anything BUT loyal to America.
