We DO have a free press - I believe the word you're looking for is "unbiased", or perhaps "honest".
In that sense, I guess Hollywood is free, too. So are the universities.
The constraints and restraints I am referring to, and deeply believe to be real, are those of political correctness and fear of ostracism.
