As fear and panic about the economic crisis turns to apprehension and anger, we have one chance to win the presidential election and fight off massive losses in the House and Senate …

Make the Democratic involvement in the Freddie and Fannie mess well-known and give the MSM no choice but to report on it.

That isn’t just an important task … it’s now the only task! Ayres, Wright, Rezko or whatever else just became distractions from this goal. Hitler, Castro, Marxism all rose to power during uncertain economic times. Freedom, liberty, free-markets, let alone character, all become less important when people are worried about their economics.

Slick Willie’s passion for peccadilloes and shady past was known when he ran for his first term yet those were rendered secondary by four (4) words,…”It’s the economy stupid.”

I don’t care if Gwen Ifil comes out wearing an Obama button or Biden accidently reveals he’s a devil worshiper, our response, from now until the election, MUST be that the economic mess is the Democrats fault, we have the transcripts and videos to prove it, and the Republicans have been trying since 2003 to correct the mess.

Mark my words, unless we do the MSM will no only continue to ignores the facts, they actually blame the GOP.

I get the feeling that the McCain campaign will be fighting a lot harder to get the real truth out than the Chicken Littles on this forum give them credit for. But more importantly, each one of us as an individual has to ask him or her self whether they are doing everything they can to keep this Marxist out of the White House. Ignore the “McCain disappoints me” threads and the hand-wringing. Donate, volunteer, make phone calls, put up yard signs and bumber stickers. On Nov 4th, the silent majority needs to show up.

Rush is on fire this morning. Saying don't let the pundits declaring this is over get you down. And we knew about McCain and his "bipartisan" bent going in to the election. But this is about Obama and the absolute worst candidate in modern times. His associations, his preacher preaching hate against whites and jews for 20 years, and his friendship with terrorists Ayers and Dohrn. And this is about the MSM and their left-wing bias not putting country first.

This can also be tied to Foreign Oil. Why? We spend 700 BILLION a YEAR that goes overseas for oil/energy.

Ask yourself, all this money pumped in the system eventually GOES somewhere. It isn’t as if the money borrowed and spent by different parties disappeared into outer space. Eventually it all filters down to you and me...and what are we spending it on? Electronics and other crap made in China and energy costs....a lot of which comes from other sources.

So a huge portion of the money exists, but exists in the Middle East and China.

I think if McCain or Palin could somehow coherently tie Fannie and Freddie to the Dems, but also tell how all the money in the system goes to the Middle East for energy (that is a bit of hyperbole..but hey...the Dems do it all the time). 700 billion a year for 5 years is 3.5 TRILLION dollars.

Don’t forget the energy crisis can be laid at the dems doorstep too. They wouldn’t let us develop our own resources and to this day are against using our coal(we have a bunch!)

I’m sick of this crap already. Two weeks ago we were talking McCain taking 40 states with serious coattails. Now it’s Nobama in a landslide with massive GOP Congressional losses. So, what’s it going to be next week?

Sarah needs to HAMMER Obama and Biden on two issues only: Democrats-Subprime connection, and offshore drilling.

She needs to divert any and all questions into attacks on those two subjects. If she is asked about her lack of foreign policy experience, she needs to ask back "What kind of foreign policy is it to be beholden to middle east shieks to the tune of nearly $1 trillion a year, when we have AMERICAN oil sitting in the ground and ocean which Barack Obama and Joe Biden won't let us touch?"

OK, I'll bite--what math do you base this upon? Clinton's high watermark was 49% of the popular vote, as an incumbent in peace time with a strong economy.
