Could someone please tell me why nobody is being prosecuted in this case? Two of Obama’s advisors, would be a good start.

It probably will fail in the House, as that has been the plan all along. “

Then they will pork it up and pass it after election.

ESPECIALLY if Obama is elected, they will be eager to give his administration a slush fund for paybacks to wall st.

Big surprise.

We’re coming up to the Destabilization phase. Demoralization has already occured and is complete. A new generation has been educated in marxist thought and is at the helm of power.

What is there was a major tax revolt - everyone just send in black 1040s next spring or write on them “pay my taxes out of the bailout funds”.

The US Senate just showed us that they do not represent us, so to that, I say, "No Taxation Without Representation".

It's time for a nation-wide tax revolt.

They’re trying to break this country. It’s much faster if they bankrupt everyone at once.

Why not bankrupt Washington instead? We need to start a tax revolt. No Taxation Without Representation.

I agree, I faxed quite a few offices throughout the day and had to try multiple times for several numbers due to a busy signal.

It should read “too” stupid to understand, not “to” stupid to understand.

I’m from Massachusetts, so I know exactly what you mean by a majority of state voters and how they keep voting for moonbats and other nutty leftists. The majority of Massachusetts voters are truly clueless when it comes to commonsense and all of the issues, and they have been this way since the 1950’s here in Massachusetts. I’m seriously afraid that “Massachusetts politics” will officially become “national politics”, starting in January 20, 2009!

I’m seriously afraid that “Massachusetts politics” will officially become “national politics”, starting in January 20, 2009!

If THAT happens, we won't have "Massachusetts" politics, across the nation we'll have "massacre us" politics.

With a resurgent Russia emerging just in time to sync up with a rising Islamic jihad, this global chemistry is the most explosive blend we've seen since the Cuban missile crisis.

Ask yourself: WTH would happen to America, if Moscow takes the opportunity of a panty-waisted Obama Administration to hook up with The Little Man from Tehran and his many interconnected terrorist organizations in a double-edged effort to mutually advance the Russian Empire under the guise of helping forge the Global Caliphate??

What happens if -- with Obama in the Oval Office -- Moscow forges an alliance with the Islamic powers in the ME, and offers the Pakis a better deal than us??

You want a vision into the bowels of Hell? The Russians offer Pakistan enough incentive that they side with Russia, Iran, and Syria, then they all draw in the Turks, along with some Islamic-leaning former Soviet nations like Chechnya, and begin putting HEAVY pressure on the Saudis to join their Dark Side (as if that would take much).

Old Europe will go under like a sand castle in a flood tide, you can kiss "The Roadmap" goodbye forever, and suddenly us "bitter clingers" state-side will be the most popular kids on the block, 'cuz we know God, and we're the only ones who're ARMED.

God will speak damnation against the evil onslaught, and our guns will speak in agreement with God's judgment.

You mark my words: "RED DAWN" was an unintentionally prophetic film. The era was wrong, and the bad guys weren't bad enough, but they got the ID of the bad guys half right, and the general battle plan roughly correct.

When it gets hot and heavy on THIS continent (and it WILL); seek refuge between the Rockies and the Mississippi. It'll be a fight to victory, or to the last man, whichever comes first.

Silly me. I thought in a representative democratic republic, we elected legislators and expected them to vote according to their knowledge, understanding and opinion as to what is best for the country.

Does that include taking over the financial institutions, and forcing tax payers to foot the bill for their failure?

I didn’t think Congresscritters were SUPPOSED to wet their finger to see which way the electorate is blowing and simply do what the masses want.

Like the masses demanding government protect and secure our sovereign borders, (one of the few things that government is actually supposed to do) and the government instead has done nothing but aid and abet this lawless invasion...While making the American tax payers subsidize this invasion?

You seem to be suggesting that Americans should just bow down to our overlords because they have the "Knowledge, understanding and opinion as to what is best for the country".

Things sure have changed for our Republic.

I’m fairly convinced that it’s primarily due to a lack of confidence in the instruments used for Mortgage backed securities, and the shear volume of these MBS that people fear are tainted.

As long as the market can gain liquidity we’ll be fine...and these guys on the hill actually do something worth doing. I’m for incremental legislation....which I don’t think they want.

—Restore confidence in the future instruments for MBS’s. That should be the prime goal. All other bandaid bs should be as spend-free as possible. But then again I do think the perception even here will be it’s own undoing.

We can do that by setting up an escrow account and pay the governments bills for them. Tell the system has failed and congress is no longer considered a responsible fiduciary of the funds to which they have been entrusted.

We can’t legally just not pay taxes, but we can divert them to more responsible hands.

Now, do we have the guts to do it? Most likely not.

The Moscow alliance may also include North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela among others not mentioned. What a possible worldwide “mess” that’s coming our way, and McCain/Palin may end up seriously missing their opportunity to have prevented it all, just because they possibly end up running too poor of a campaign as well as have the entire MSM turn into the “All Obama Television, Radio, and Internet Networks”. These are truly very dangerous times that we are presently living in. The U.S. is on the verge of truly becoming a third world socialistic country forever!
