Please allow me to (re-)introduce Bailey(L) and Jack (R).
Jack (part German Shepard) was rescued by a neighbor in '99 when he was about 6 mos old. He was wearing a harness that had been applied when he was a small pup. He grew and the harness didn't. It was imbedded into his chest and the skin grew around it. The harness had to be cut out by the vet and anti-biotics administered to guard againt infection at the open wound.
Bailey (Golden Retriever) has a much happier adoption. We chose him from the litter of 11 pups when he was 4 weeks old and brought him home at 9 weeks.
Above you will see they are preparing for their diving lessons with the grandsons. :)

What a beautiful creature manc. I'm certain the two of you will enjoy whatever time you have left together to the fullest! *Hugs*
What breed is he?
To: AZamericonnie
Yes thank you for putting them on
I was in the anti tank platoon in support company
the one in the snow was taken in norway in the artic circle where we had to live up there in snowholes etc for 3 months.
I’m firing the missile in the artic and I was the number two in the other shot.
the missile is about a mile and a half distance and as you can see the picture shows the missile leaving the tube and the tube throws backwards where the blast is.
That is one place you do not want to be.
I have many pictures for the future if you like

Sapphire is a stray who was taken in by our son, John. We learned that she was one of a litter of kittens that was turned out by the owner and left to fend for themselves. She has been a most happy addition for our family. I don't have any pics uploaded of our second cat, Ace - he also walked into the house with the assistance of my sons. We are not sure, but he may be from the same litter as Sapphire. He was more feral and took longer to settle down but has been another nice addition to the family. Our boys have three Leopard Geckos named Lois, Wammy, and Yaimey. That is the extent of our pet family.
