God bless you guys, we need you. You're our last great hope before the Democrats and RINOs push us all in and plunge us into full blown socialism.
Hang tough!!
By the way, just heard on FOX News something about the committees working on this bailout bill just had their Blackberries confiscated so they can't communicate with the outside world. I pray I misheard that.
Banning Blackberries, eh? So those members with iPhones are in the clear. Yet another reason to buy one!
He's down here in the Fred getting worshiped. No signs allowed at the rally on PUBLIC property, local lefty paper is actually po'd at that, college bookstore got c&d'd against selling Obama t-shirts. No umbrellas were allowed either, and a hell of a storm just roared through. Teehee!
You’re fantasizing, is what you’re doing.
YEP....hmmmm maybe the estimated quarterly tax might be a way to do this...
;-)
Yes, I'm concerned. These are not 'national security' issues - they are public policy issues and all this needs to be discussed, argued, and outlined in the public eye. The only reason I can think of that this is being done behind closed doors is that the liberals want to score a coup before the people are onto their moves.
We really need to stay on top of this one!
>>>Id like to see them take mine away. It would not happen.
Plugging Rat leaks isn’t necessarily a bad thing is it?
This is ridiculous.
I would not be happy with a bailout that is earmark (ACORN/La Raza) but could move on.
I can not tolerate a bailout with earmarks. If this happens and McCain does not jump all over it, I am calling the campaign and requesting my donations be returned.
For the most part elected Republicans have been content to let the Dems bully there way to getting things they want, without ever using the media, the bully pulpit (McCain had a great chance to do this last night) instead they will let the Dems and MSM dictate the content of the debate and respond to it. Why can’t we ever frame the debate and let the Dems respond?
The Senate GOP can still filibuster this, call DeMint, call Sununu (who is fighting for his political life in his re-election bid) and encourage them to filibuster and STOP proceeding on any bill that helps lefty groups under the premise of a national emergency. There is NO reason this bill needs to be more than 1 paragraph in length, let alone reams of paper.
Grow some balls, go nuclear! If not we are all going to the gulags!
I hope your bunker is well-prepared for the imminent fall of the sky.
The news media is the ultimate censor, and they are almost exclusively in the pocket of the left. This election cycle, they have shown themselves to be the enemy of this once-free country.
Since most people get their news from the MSM, they are generally unaware of what's being done to them in Washington.
Anybody know where McCain is?
Just out of curiosity: Do blackberries have the ability to record conversations in the room? If so, that might be another reason.
I’ve never used a blackberry, so I have no idea.
Very discouraging, but this is the kind of overboard stuff that rallies up the base. People need to WAKE UP and start paying attention.
Wow! I think its way past time.
I wonder how we would go about this.
Oh I am SO with you! They ought to have someone at a podium every damn hour with a blow by blow of whats going on in that room, because for DAMN sure, the Dims would be a LOT different in what they say and DO if they know WE ARE WATCHING. Thats why she nabbed the Blackberries.
To Keep us in the dark.
Repubbies, get someone at a podium every hour! Start repeating what these losers are trying to do! We got your back! FOR REAL!
Where've you been? It's a dirty organization that's supposed to provide services for the poor, including get out the vote operations & low income housing.
Would the MSM cover any Repubs doing this? They didn’t cover the House Repubs press conference yesterday. NONE of them, not even Fox.
Did anyone even know the Repubs had a press conference?
