Just out of curiosity: Do blackberries have the ability to record conversations in the room? If so, that might be another reason.

I’ve never used a blackberry, so I have no idea.

Hmmmm...well my cell phone can record voice messages so I imagine a Blackberry can.

But I don’t own one.

Cellphones are long considered a potential security risk. They are not allowed in any secure gov’t facility. There is supposedly equipment that can remotely activate and use cellphones as listening devices, without the owners knowledge.
