Although there is so far no official confirmation of this event, isn't this advance by Bush into Pakistan's sovereign territory *exactly* what Obama said he would do as president, and what McCain called irresponsible?

Wouldn't this prove Obama's judgement wrong, McCain's right, and distance McCain from Bush all at the same time?

These is not a new “push” into Pakistan’s territory. The Pakistani government is very unstable right now and could go either way. One thing you may not have seen is that there are many comments on UK and other press websites blaming the US for the bombing of the Marriott, because supposedly we have threatened to “take over” Pakistan. According to them, we bombed the hotel to make it easier to take over the Paki government (by killing the new President and Prime Minister, who were expected to be at dinner at the hotel but changed their plans). Thanks, irresponsible Barry.

This report is pure BS (or an orchestrated event for Pak media of which we went along)...but more than likely just complete BS.

The reality is we can cross their border at will in most of the areas we are looking to strike without them ever knowing - They aren’t there -

In areas where they are, we can avoid and those few locations where we can’t.....if they fire on us, those locations need not exist for long...

Reading between the lines........good news likely isn’t too far off most believe....it is now a game of how to spin it....

Obama had no Doctrine......He spouted empty words of invading Pakistan...while in a position where he had no accountability to implement such.
