I think I agree with you.
It would only hurt democrats to portray the black community not having a hive mind for the democrats.
If they had staged this themselves they would have had white only protesters with a few with racial slurs on their signs or chanting them, because they would only portray us as the lowest thing they could because they are so into their stereotypes.

You know - I keep going back and forth. I’m not completely sure.
It seems like a couple of internal polling info that I’ve seen is showing Obama with only 83-85% of the African American vote. I’m sure there are some with the typical 90-95%, but I noticed it when browsing through 4-5 internals of diff national polls (gallup, battleground, and even cBS).
Let’s just ponder for a momement and think about this rationally...Take the pic of the African American in the KKK hat. It seemed somewhat like a hoax/farce, but it doesn’t completely make sense. It really makes me wonder...did anyone ask this guy what this meant? If he was pro-Obama or against Obama, or what?
You would think ONE journalist there at the Obama lovefest might find this an interesting story. I mean, even if they were a liberal or moderate, you could really make a name for yourself by presenting a story like this. Of course, you could also get fired, but if you did, you could take your story to fox and they’d hire you and you’d be national and even watched by both parties in a blink of an eye.

Obama was clearly shaken this morning after McCain came out swinging and exposed Zero. It is clear that Obama is a man who goes wobbley when he is pressed. Terrible quality in a President.
Concern African American is very concerned.
Obama does not have a corner on the black Evangelical vote. Sure, there are a lot of black social Christians, who use their “health and wealth” philosophy to justify their political leanings, and they love Obama. But there are also many born again, Bible reading black Evangelical Christians who abhor the man, based on his abortion and gay rights stance.
I go to church with these people’ that’s how I know.
That was the most contrived thing I’ve ever witnessed. It’s like Obama was trying to show people that he lets every have their own opinion.
What I can’t believe is the dumb a$$es that fall for that crap.

There is a great station in Detroit, 1400 AM I think, that preaches conservatism packaged in the black culture. I think the show I heard while up in Michigan a few weeks ago was Joshua's Trail. It was excellent.

It appears that their grievance with Obama, as evidenced by their "KKK" signs, is that Obama doesn't do what they feel is enough to further black causes. I'm guessing reparations is probably one of them.
It's an interesting dilemma that Obama's in and it will be very interesting to see how he handles this.
