The Washington Post isn’t the only daily D.C. newspaper to rave about Sandra Bernhard’s anti-Palin ranting. Wednesday’s Washington Examiner joined in, with the headline "Comedienne delivers enraged optimism." Barbara Mackay claimed "in the end, oddly and subtly, Bernhard’s message is positive."
That’s not the impression you’d get from the blog of Theater J, where Bernhard is appearing. It has video of Bernhard calling Palin "Uncle Women," a "turncoat b—h" and a "whore." One complaint on the blog that Bernhard crosses a line of political incorrectness draws a defense from Ari Roth of Theater J that really drops the curtain on how coarse this show is:

I am becoming so ashamed of some members of my sex. I support women’s rights. I am pro choice in that I believe women do have the right to choice but in that right comes responsibility and the taking of an infant’s life should not be a trip to the grocery store and stopping by an abortion clinic. The right of choice also means control of your body by taking measures to PREVENT pregnancy, not the free use of sex without protection and then destroying the resulting baby because you were too inconsiderate of yourself, your life and the life of another. I do not want to see women returned to the clotheshanger days of old but I do want women to teach responsibility of actions to their daughters so we don’t continue chopping up babies at a whim. There certainly are extenuating circumstances that may result in a needed abortion but abortion should never be used as a means of birth control. Those are my personal feelings. I believe in equal rights, equal pay, equal opportunities for all women. However, I also believe that these belligerant, hostile women who have sprung up saying they represent all women is a direct insult to me and those like me. These women have lost the softness of a woman, the class of a woman, the beauty of a woman. I don’t want them saying anything in the name of womanhood that is offensive, mean, nasty, immoral, classless and attribute it to ‘the women’s cause’. They, quite frankly, are embarrasing and, in NO WAY, represent me.

Oh yes. She’s the first iductee into the INTERNATIONAL NEVER WERES HALL OF FAME in Hoboken. They share a building with the CHEVY CHASE HAS-BEEN MUSEUM.
That's not an actual firearm she's using -- it's a training device. Not sure which exact one, but it essentially lets you train on marksmanship skills by "shooting" at images projected on a screen. The computer than shows you exactly where your "bullets" hit. I've used them before -- GREAT training tool.
Bernhard’s farts stink, but not as bad as her attempts at comedy.

Another angry, bitter, ugly, aging lesbian whose 15 minutes were over long, long ago. I remember seeing this nitwit at a musician’s picnic several years ago and when she got on stage and started singing, people actually booed and started leaving. She was horrible.
She’s so ugly, Helen Thomas is going as her for Halloween............................. Thanks, now who’s going to pay for the cleaning of my lap top now that I sprayed my coffee all over it!
