That's not an actual firearm she's using -- it's a training device. Not sure which exact one, but it essentially lets you train on marksmanship skills by "shooting" at images projected on a screen. The computer than shows you exactly where your "bullets" hit. I've used them before -- GREAT training tool.
This space-age stuff is amazing -- cleaner, safer, quieter, and you don't have to reload another 100 rounds before tomorrow!
