Video: Palin referring now to “a Palin and McCain administration”(Palin gaffe or not?)
hot air ^

Just giving the people what they want: McCain did not mention the flooding during his brief remarks, which focused mainly on the country’s financial crisis. A steady stream of folks started leaving the rally when McCain started speaking, apparently they were there just to see Palin. ...

Actually I would call it the McCain/Palin doctrine.

Its not a gaffe! If elected, this is what our Administration will do... simple and straight!

From the first moment of the announcement of her selection I have unequivocally stated that I’M VOTING FOR HER!

(McCain is now baggage on her ticket - although I’m allowing the possibility that an extrordinary woman can bring out the best in a good man.)

The Palin fanatics seem to not grasp how very, very bad a sign this is.

McCain's bounce is gone, and his "It's Bush and Wall Street's fault" reaction to the current financial situation is not helping him.

I believe Ann Coulter said her new slogan was:

“She’s only a heartbeat away.”

McCain's bounce is gone, and his "It's Bush and Wall Street's fault" reaction to the current financial situation is not helping

Whenever McCain opens his mouth, he shows he is reverting in to the same ole McCain he has been for the last decade.

Yesterday, there was a thread about a current speech wherein he was committing to Comprehensive Immigration Reform, again.

The guy just doesn't get it. And those who think Palin has caused him to return to conservatism are fooling themselves. McCain, if elected president, will continue to push the same things he has been pushing for the last decade -- only with the bully pulpit at his disposal. And he will continue to reach across the aisle to compromise with his 'friends' on the other side.

For all the recent hoopla about Palin, when the dust settles, McCain is still the same ole McCain.

Agreed. It's obvious, too, that Palin is in synch with him on a lot more than people would like to believe.

I'm reverting to "At least he ain't Obama" as my only reason for voting for him. I don't know if that's going to be enough for a win.

McCain/Palin is a million times better than Obama!

Think long term, people:

-Strong military
-Constitution-respecting SCOTUS judges
-President Palin in 2112

Just to name a few.

IF McCain knew what he was talking about, he could hammer Obama. GWB actually has a solid record looking for oversight, which the Democratic Congress refused.

This crisis is NOT the fault of greed, but direct action by Congress - and both parties in Congress have blame, but about 80% goes to the Democrats.

If elected, we all know that McCain won’t stand for a second term because of his age. If they work as a team, Palin will have gained experience, exposure and connections during her four years as Vice President. McCain should graciously accept his role as hardened mentor. It puts him in a superior position without threatening his primacy, yet it allows Palin to come into full bloom as an executive. .

Cox has been way too very passive and just waiting out the Bush last months. The SEC has been looking the other way since the Reagan era and both parties have allowed this short selling crap and all these crappy securities /loan scams to go unchecked for 16 years. Everyone has lined there pockets .McCain is right .

As for the comment about it being a Palin and McCain administration, it was just a loose comment. Nothing was meant by it. McCain may have even suggested she drop that line once in a while to cheer up the Conservative base.

As for what takes place after 01/20/09, McCain is the President and Palin reverts to the breaker of tie votes in the Senate, if there are any. It’s his policy that will be implemented. That’s just the way it is folks.

Now, Palin is going to take some heat for being supportive of McCain’s policies. That goes with the territory. He is the President and as Vice-President it is her job to support his initiatives.

Sorry folks. This is reality.

Oh wow. That is effective debate and discussion ---- for first grade.

That kind of response to posts really wins over many to your side. [/sarcasm]

You, however, are making erroneous assumptions: When one inserts assumptions into a discussion it is because they have no factual basis with which to respond. Thus, one reverts to scare tactics based on assumptions. Which you did. Such scare tactics are for that purpose -- to scare. They add nothing to the facts of a discussion.

I don't trust McCain. Because he has a history. And because he is still advocating many of the same things he has advocated during the last 8 years:
