I have always thought this would come back to bite Obama.
He walked into his Senate seat without a sweat and doesn't have the fortitude to handle this kind of campaign.
In Deseret? I thought they were in De Nile!.............
The Obama camapign is a lively corpse, and the election is still close. Better campaign hard or we may still lose.
by calling him old, and old, and white, and old.... and did I mention that he’s old...
He doesn’t look like those other guys on the dollar bill... he isn’t green like obama.
“...the Obama campaign has vowed...to take the gloves off and go after McCain hard, linking him to President Bush...”
Since McCain was never linked up to Bush’s Administration, or to Bush personally for that matter, this will be hard slogging for the Democrats.
On top of this, it appears Troopergate is a flop up in Alaska.
My, how things are looking up!
Is this the 6th or 54th time this has been said and attempted. The regular American folk are not buying it, only the choir bows down to this rhetoric. I'm actually starting to laugh when I hear it yet once again, and again, and again...ad infinitum. Keep it coming so I may keep on laughing!!!
As I was running to the store yesterday, I noticed a new crop of Obama posters in several front yards in my neighborhood that were not there the day before. They stick out because the small KC suburb I live in is very red. I haven’t seen any McCain posters at all.
He doesn't actually have a deal to close, that's the problem.
Like buying a car: we're down to the point where we want to see the car and get the keys, and he's still telling us what a lovely shade of blue it is.
It wasn't all that brilliant. As the affirmative action candidate, people decided he was entitled. He had it in the bag. His race was all anyone talked about, and still talk about. The first black man to run for president. Let's vote for him. Aren't we holy?
Wow, what a novel approach. That's never been tried before. Good luck with that, 0bama.
Hillary was hamstrung as she couldnt criticize Obama too harshly and also she didnt bring out Wright early enough.
So the lesson is hit hard on the issues, like increasing taxes on small business means everyone pays more and job losses, and dont wait too long to use the Wright, Rezko and Ayers scandals.
Is this really true? Is that even possible in America?
nuff said....
Democrat campaigns are touchy feely creepy crawly.
I think we must remember that Obama boasted about running his whopping huge, expensive and highly populated campaign as “executive experience” as compared to the Mayorship of “Wassilly”... So the brilliance of the ad mentioned in the article, reflects entirely upon him. What a genius! Three shots to the foot in a single ad! Poking fun at the elderly, missing that McCain was practically a pioneer in Internet campaigning (as attested by Forbes)and underscoring his heroism in a very poignant way that untold millions can appreciate... discomfort at a keyboard a result of torture.
Barack scores minus three on the Niccolò Macchiavelli Meter.
Heh heh.
C’mon folks, the fat lady hasn’t even begun warming up yet, much less started singing. McCain is up by 1 in the latest Ras poll. I’m seeing too much overconfidence here, too much looking past the election to the post-election postmortems on Obama’s campaign. Let’s save the gloating for after the election. Obama will get his act together and the MSM will pull out all the stops (you ain’t seen nothing yet). It will be a tough two months, don’t you doubt it. The more we crow now the harder it will be to recover when Obama takes a lead in the polls which he will do from time to time.
Maybe the Obama campaign can make fun of McCain’s inability to raise his arms above his head or mock Sarah Palin’s children.
Oh, wait...
