"You only know five spices: salt, pepper, ketchup, bbq sauce, and Ranch dressing."
Where the hell is the salsa? I was raised on pico de gallo and salsa. I agree with you Bender, some damn commie from the Northeast wrote this. :-)

I am so embarrassed. Only 92%. I was born and reared in Kermit (Winkler County). I have obviously been removed from my beloved Texas for entirely too long.
I agree with the comment upthread that the spice question is ridiculous. My ear was never attuned to dialects like others. Since the question of the A/C is no longer true, I chose to not answer it affirmatively.

You're as welcome in Texas as a skunk at a lawn party. |
Pretty good for a Mainer.

Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit. This ain't your first rodeo! |
Some damyankee must have dreamed up those questions.
#1: I checked the one on "spices" -- with the reservation that the BBQ sauce must be made with lotsa Habanero peppers...
#4: Our vacations are archaeological digs with the Texas Archeological Society -- usually camped 'way out in the Texas boonies...
#10: During our 20-year "Yankee (MA) Exile", we had a stream through our yard that froze in the winter; I tried ice skates on it. I also "got inta" cross country skiing (one of the few things about New England that I actually miss...)
But, the best thing is that this Native Texan is enjoying the 71st year of his life back home in God's Country!!! ;-)

Thanks Kathy! HAHAHAHAHA! 92% Texan, I messed up on the posting so Y’ALL will have to take my word on it. I don’t drink Dr. Pepper even as a “coke”, I drink the real thing, a “coke” but in any event, whatever softdrink is served me, I’m polite and will accept it but it’s still a COKE — or — Co-cola. LOL!
