60% Texas.........well considering I was born in San Antonio and over the years, I’ve lived in Lubbock, Abilene, Austin...guess I qualify. :)

Well, right now I'm washing clothes. I took Bo out to the lake yesterday. He had fun in the water.
Later today, I'm going to trim one of the bushes in my yard.
Weather's been nice the last few days. more nice weather forecast through next week.

Good morning beachy. (((HUGS))) to you too.
Missed one of the questions. Dr Pepper is NOT a drink.
That stuff is nothing but recycled prune juice.

BTW, folks. Here are my results from taking the "How Texas Are You?" quiz.
"You Are 40% Texas".
For the record, I live about 40 miles from the Texas border AKA the Red River.

Thanks, thought of it myself on the spot when I read the thread title! “How Texan am I?” I am so Texan that when I look up into the night sky I see one Lone Star! ;)
Actually besides driving through and basic training (USAF) I haven’t been in Texas much. Californian!
How Californian am I? Ive gone with a bunch of fruits and nuts to go pick fruits and nuts.

Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit. This ain't your first rodeo! |
I call foul on two questions ~ there is more than five spices and ketchup is not one of them! And there is no supper ~ it goes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

A German artist named Ludwig Bemelmans once visited far West Texas, exploring its forbidding but majestic mountains and barren desert, and afterward said: It is what Beethoven reached for in music. It will make you breathe deeply whenever you think of it, for you have inhaled eternity.

Everything is now fine. We did not get much storm damage ~ fence fell down & some minor roof damage. We were without power for 64 hours, which is a short time considering some still don’t have power.
Thankfully a cool front came through on Sunday evening ~ it has been a blessing. It was so hot & humid on Saturday that my floor was wet.
Hope all is well with you & yours.

Still no power here, still on generator power. Could be another week without. Will have to go get gas this afternoon or in the morning. Our biggest inconvenience is no hot water, sort of like camping out but with a real bed.Trying to see if FEMA will help defray cost of fuel since mrs. Eastie has to have her oxygen machine cuz without the generator we would have had to evacuate so we could run her machine. We shall see how that goes.Glad to hear ya made it without too much inconveniemce.

My mom would be upset to hear you say that about Dr. Pep.
Hey, I’m a Virginian gal who happens to live in Maryland. I was bound to fail that one.
