I’ve been following the hurricane thread. It was so good to see folks check back in one at a time. I’ve got family now in Kingwood, and this was their first hurricane. It was good to see that they followed all the recommendations I was reading about on FR. They didn’t have much in the way of damage, but last I heard they were still without power and keeping a close watch on a couple trees.

Yes, I missed them while they were cut off. It's great seeing them checking in.

I hope your family in Kingwood gets power back soon and I'm glad to hear there wasn't much damage. My good friend Jeff lives there....his power went out and he lost his fence, but other than that, he's OK.

Leaves are turning and dropping, and it’s been raining every day lately. Supposed to be a heavy winter. We will see when it gets here. It’s 48 right now going on 1am.

Our biggest problem right now is the million msm, et al, folks here intent on digging up dirt on Sarah Palin, helped, of course, by the dims and good old boys that hate her.

Oh, that's right...I read that Alaska had been invaded by a bunch of loafer-wearing, chardonnay-sipping liberal media scum. Uck...you're going to have to have major decontamination done after they leave.

It's seems like the more the media shreds Sarah, the more she is liked. I hope this trend continues.

I too hope the trend continues. Unfortunately they are getting inside help here. The creep that started the troopergate investigation, is an obama supporter and top dim in the house, and hates Sarah. *sigh*
