JOHN LENNON fantasised about having sex with his mother Julia, according to a leaked audio diary which it is claimed he recorded a year before his death.
His widow YOKO ONO and BEATLES bandmate PAUL McCARTNEY are furious about forthcoming book John Lennon: The Life by Philip Norman, which makes the lurid accusation.
However on the tape - which you can listen to by clicking here- a voice alleged to be Johns can be heard noting: I was just remembering the time I had my hand on my mothers t*t in 1 Blomfield Road.
It was when I was about 14.
I took a day off school, I was always doing that and hanging out in her house.
We were lying on the bed and I was thinking I wonder if I should do anything else?
The audio recorded on September 5 1979 continues: It was a strange moment, because I actually had the hots for some rather lower class female who lived on the other side of the road.
Mum ... Julia Lennon
I always think that I should have done it. Presuming she would have allowed it.

You don't want to let Chuck Norris hear you say that.
Other direction.
“Irving Berlin couldnt read music either. He also couldnt really play any instrument very well.”
As I recall Berlin only played the black keys on the piano. In fact he had pianos made with the white keys deadened.
As am I...and even you.
I guess none of us can really do anything else, huh?
So Stuart...suppose I went into your house and took all of your stuff. You'd be cool with that because you believe God wants me to do it. Right? Oh, and are you married? Just asking.
Those guys were/are great too.
I think the beautiful melodies came much more from Paul McCartney.... nothing Lennon did after the Beatles amounted to much IMHO. With the Beatles, the best melodies usually came primarily from Paul. John Lennon was great in ensemble with the others and added a lot, of course, but I don’t get the sense that he was any musical genius the way his acolytes pretend. .......then again I don’t claim to be any musical expert, I just like what I like..... :^)
Sorry but in the US, where most FReepers are, from Alaska to Maine it is Saturday.
The tape was passed to The Sun by a friend of Philip Norman hoping to counter the outrage of Beatles fans at the book, which also alleges John wanted a gay relationship with Macca (McCartney).
This reminds me of the book about the Beatles by Peter Brown that came out in the '80s in which Brown claimed Lennon had a homo relationship with Brian Epstein. With these British authors, there always seems to be a homo agenda worked into the mix somehow. And they always push that agenda using dead people who can't defend themselves. I'll wait until at least two unimpeachable experts authenticate the tape before I pass judgment on Lennon, thank you.
That’s a pretty stupid statement to make. Of course I wouldn’t be. Why would I? Would you want a meteor to fall on your house? Would you be cool with a plague that wiped out your family?
Guess what? Bad guys do bad stuff daily, good guys don’t.
Are you the kind of person that would do that? If not, then I guess God didn’t make you one of the bad guys, did He?
Again, it’s all a matter of personal taste, but here are some examples: This Boy, If I Fell, Norwegian Wood, You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away, I Feel Fine, Ticket To Ride, etc. Can’t argue with you about McCartney.
What bothers me about this article is the fact that Lennon has two sons who have to deal with this garbage. I feel sorry for them.
Yep, that song is about her.
Except for "In My Life".
Where he came up with that one I'll never know.
But you are only half right. McCartney without Lennon is too sweet and Lennon without McCartney is too sour. (Lennon's "Life is very short, and there's no time..." bridge in "We Can Work It Out" and McCartney's "Woke up, fell outta bed, dragged a comb across my head" tinkling the middle of "A Day In The Life" are just two examples)
I bought McCartney's 1970 solo effort and Harrison's "All Things Must Pass", and that was it for my post-Beatles collection. Never bought another.
Those boys needed each other.
Chuck Norris knows martial arts but meatloaf is only good for meals. Another overrated band is The Pretenders, who only had one song worth listening to, which is why Rush Limbaugh uses it. An under appreciated song writer is Bob Dylan. Sure he was a lousy singer, but what a great song writer. Listen to Grateful Dead cover his “It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue” with Garcia doing the vocals. Great song, great live cover. Ditto for “All Along The Watchtower” with Weir dong the vocals; best version of this song by anyone.
Is anybody really surprised by this?
I mean it’s John Lennon. Deep down we knew all along he had a sick perverted mind.
Under appreciated by who?
He's been considered the best since "Freewheeling" and gets his due.
I don’t think Dylan is a lousy singer. He has a very distinctive voice. Was listening to him sing “Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll” live in England (1964 or 1965) on DVD recently and was blown away with his vocals. I think he is under appreciated as a songwriter because of the fact that his lyrics are pretty deep.
I wonder if John had Yoko dress up in Mommy’s clothes before they ‘did it’.
