In its zeal to get tough on Sen. John McCain, who has taken the lead in the presidential race, Sen. Barack Obama's campaign released a television ad today, titled "Still," making fun of Sen. McCain for being old fashioned. In the ad, the Obama campaign says that McCain hasn't changed much since he went to Congress in 1982, to make the case that McCain's campaign does not represent change. But the campaign crossed a line when it ridiculed McCain because he "can't send an e-mail," and unwittingly embroiled itself in another controversy that will throw the campaign off message. The charge is true, McCain cannot send e-mails. But the reason, which the Obama campaign clearly did not take the time to investigate, is that because of his Vietnam War injuries, suffered at the hands of his tortuous North Vietnamese captors, Sen. McCain cannot type on a keyboard.
The Boston Globe reported the details in an article first published in March 2000.
McCain gets emotional at the mention of military families needing food stamps or veterans lacking health care. The outrage comes from inside: McCain's severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes.

I gotta admit, that is the first prayer I have ever heard that contains the phrase "Obama's mama is the trashiest thing since the Staten Island landfill."
Or anything remotely resembling it.
LOL. Manning is such a trip.

Thanks!
I waited all day for some TV pundit to remark on that dumb ad about McCain "went to Washington in 1982.." and say, "well, yeah, and Biden went to Washington in 1973"
So what does that say about your VP pick, obambi? If this is the kind of research = or lack of - that they do before ussuing public accusations, imagine the trouble they could cause on the world stage/
ARe these people all braindead?
But combined with that great video clip "Lying King" and now this, I am going to sleep with a smile all night
I think it was bait - to get McCain to say “What about Biden”....to get our POTUS candidate to compare himself to their veep candidate. Didn’t work. I want to see a cartoon of Obama in a geeksquad car, though.
LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best laugh of the day!!
If done right I bet they would reel and squirm for the rest of the election campaign cycle attempting to explain their actions.
No matter what they say they would look stupid and cold hearted.
.
“Now we just need Biden to offer a high-five to McCain.”
Or have Nobama challenge McCain to one-on-one basketball game.
Bump for later.
The left is coming unglued.
Bump for later.
The left is coming unglued.
Oh,the B.O. bus rolls on - this time over veterans who were injured in the service of their country.
I have seen demands for the Vietnamese transcripts of McCain’s interrogations.
To what end?
I’ve been out of the loop: has the obamination pulled this despicable ad?
bttt
“There must be some serious buyers mortification going on at planet Dem.”
Thanks, you are correct. I see on Drudge this AM that is exactly what is happening.
He released on Sept 11? This is really over the top. First he pledges to take a day off from attack politics to honor those who were injured and died on Sept 11 2001. Then he uses the occasion to mock the dissabilities of a true war hero. This from a guy who pledged to set a new tone in politics.
Obama is the scum of the earth who has crawled out of a Chicago sewer.
I don’t know. Just got on today.
