Anyone agree? The 'Pig' comment seems small and trivial, so somebody calls you a pig? good grief, it's politics. Stop wining, he knocked them off message and this is what it is all about. Ignore it.

I think the McCain campaign is right to hit this hard and quick then should back off immediately. This kind of comment by Hussein will really resonate with Hillary! supporters because they saw similar sniping by Hussein in the primaries. The McCain campaign should just make their point (which they have done) and move on.

Their "response" is just giving it legs - so people who might have missed the idiot's comments get to hear them. It's called politics.

That’s a curious about page you have there my FRiend.

It could certainly cause one to question your motives for posting this vanity.

I agree! (don't touch it)

When you walk up to the plate against a pitcher who's struggling; make 'em throw a strike before you take the bat off your shoulder.

Whoopie Goldberg and Joy were all over it on the View this morning complete with video of McCain using the phrase when talking about a bad program. And he apologized for using it before he did.

But the Dems ARE going to use it to say the GOP is lying, misrepresenting etc.

I agree. The question is how quickly they discover the error. There is nothing wrong with making a decision that turns out wrong, as long as you quickly evaluate your decision and the adversary's response and move in another direction.

My hope is that McCain moves off this and ignores the haloed one's responses and moves to a new area of attack, letting Obama and Co. remain fixated while the old naval aviator maneuvers back on to Obama's SIX.

I agree with you. Humor would’ve been a MUCH better tactic.

Let US call “sexism”, not them.

I agree with you in term that they should not have address it. Obama is not going to win this elections no matter what the polls say. It is an impossibility for him to win because the hard reality regarding his own party cannot be changed i.e. 18% to 20% of his own party is not going to vote for him and hence he is going to certainly lose the elections.

This stuff should be left up to the surrogates to respond to and should not be responded to by the candidates themselves.

This childish behavior makes both parties look immature and may leave a bad taste in the mouths of some.

I think I’ll leave that up to the professionals running McCain’s campaign. They seem to be doing a great job, so I’m not going to second guess them at this point.

Time to drop it and refresh and renew their stump speeches. Time to get more specific on issues.

Get serious, drop the flap, and get moving.

You are so wrong on many levels. The MCCain response got it onto TV and the lips of the morning talking heads, his camp now has smarmy jokes that can carry them for while. Obama is off his message AGAIN and has to take precious time out of his day to explain it, which he did a terrible job of. The McCain camp can now respond with a above the fray cutting jibe about it while having acolytes and low level supporters to continue to be upset. It is classical misspeak politics at its finest.

BS. Women of America must be told over and over that that is what Obama thinks of women. It takes a while to get the message out and time for the partial brain dead to realize what Obama really is.

I think they handled it just right.

Create enough of a stink about it to get Obama to address it today. It eats up another day of the news cycle and gives Obama the last word, which, in this case, is a good thing.

He looked petty.
