If your water breaks, dont fool around, get to the hospital.
Actually that's not necessary (unless your water breaks prematurely). The amniotic fluid is constantly replenishing itself. If a woman avoids all internal exams she's fine for quite a long while. She should just stay hydrated and watch for any fever.
The 24 hours the hospitals push is based on the typical pro-c-section American medicine model (and we happen to have some of the worst fetal and maternal mortality rates in the developed world).
Consider this - women whose water breaks prematurely often spend weeks and weeks in the hospital. Somehow they and their babies manage to survive the experience, even with all the nasty superbugs like MRSA and the like that proliferate there. The point being that it's not the water breaking that's dangerous, it's infection. Without internals the risk is quite low.
It is far, far preferable (and safer) to stay in your own home (where you have immunity to the familiar germs) for as long as possible.

I read the book by Timmerman and found it extremely interesting. Never have figured out either why Pres Bush allowed all these people to stay — you may not to be able to fire them, but you can transfer them and he and his cabinet people did little of nothing.
State Department is worse now then at any time yet IMHO! DOJ is a nightmare.

The ABC Radio news a few hours ago had Obama pleading that the campaigns quit, “Comparing resumes...” said that is not what Americans want to hear.

I saw the Greta special, and I'm pretty sure Sarah was referring to one of the previous births when she said she went back to work the next day.
Indeed, she did say that...I believe it was with Piper. She also said that with her last pregnancy, she kept it a secret and nobody knew until the last month.

Yes, I just saw it. She was talking about going back to work the next day after PIPER was born. She said, visibly pregnant, that she hopes to do the same with this baby. (Trig.)

LOL
That’s not what Obama wants to hear hahaha.
This is why he challenged Sarah to a game of basketball.
Because he’s sick of the comparisons. LOL

I said on another thread that they were poking the bear with this, the mainstream stream media is now in the realm of domestic enemys
If the left pushes the American People into civil war II,Then this business with leaking classified info, deliberately underming the war on terror and conspiring with each other to undermine and subvert a presidential election.
that would make the media a legiment target

If I dont work for a covered entity and I steal your medical records and sell them to the NY Times then by your logic Id be home free except for the theft angle. If you stole the records, you could be prosecuted for theft, not a HIPAA violation. The hospital or provider, however, could be prosecuted under HIPAA if they had not done due diligence in securing the medical records in the first place.
I work out of my home, and I read medical records every day. If I leave them out on my desk, and someone walks into my office, and takes them while I was gone, that would be a HIPPA violation on my part only. But if I had them in a locked file cabinet, and you broke in and stole them, I probably wouldn't be, because I had used "due diligence".
I am sure the patient could sue you in a civil court for the release of information, but criminally you would probably get only the theft, and possibly breaking and entering.

I hate to break it to you, but Drudge hasn't had a Sunday night show for quite some time.

Drudge has now changed the section and has a new title and link that still returns you to his page. It now says:
“NYT: MEET THE BABY...
PAPER PREPARES TO FRONT DETAILED STORY ON PALIN’S BABY, NEWSROOM SOURCES TELL DRUDGE... DEVELOPING...”
It is starting to look like Drudge and the NY Times suckered us by using the word expose with it’s negative connotation and the NY Times track record of attacking conservatives unfairly.
