.....Why were you here in the Twin Cities? And how did you get into the Excel Center?
I was here in Minneapolis for the IVAW convention and thought Id stick around for this.
Well Ive been a Ron Paul supporter since the beginning of this campaign. Since before this campaign started, actually, Ive been a fan of Paul. So Ive got a lot of friends in the Ron Paul crowd. And hes got a lot of delegates in there. More than the Republican Party is willing to admit. And the fact that I got into there is proof of that. One of Pauls alternate delegates got me a guest pass....

FYI,
On the back of my tickets it says
This ticket is a revokeable license. Tickets may be revoked from persons engaging in inappropriate or disorderly behavior or for any other reason deemed appropriate by security personel and/or the Republican National Committee (RNC)
That means that the RNC is treating the ticket like a ticket to a sporting event. I would treat it like an invitation to a private party held on private property. Like you are invited to someone’s house. It would be issued to a named person, be only for that person, and non-transferable. Then I would have the host city commit to pass an ordinance that has severe penalties for trespass.
You mean like those Shrimp Subsidies that supports and votes against them??
Has anybody looked into why MSNBC aimed their cameras at this asshole not once but twice? Like that was an accident.
Good for you
I love the state of NH and would hate to see it go the way of the other wacko left wing loon states around you
I’ll be honest every Paul supporter I have come across has been nuts.
Now I am sure there are a few who are great but all the ones I have met thus far have just been total nutcases .
And I'm sure the heckler's ticket was duly revoked. Prior to that action however, the man had every right to be in there. As did I when I heckled Clinton (except that no one kicked me out and I resumed my catcalls after the Secret Service gave me the once-over.)
No offense intended.

” One Code Pinko said she got a pass to a Pro-Life rally and Palins speech from MSNBC- this is the first admission of how demonstrators got into McCains speech last night.”
Was it the same person both nights who charged down the aisle?
From the quick shot on TV it looked like it to me...
Well I’m glad you are being honest, I would hate for some one to post disinformation anonymously online. How many Ron Paul supporters have you met? Perhaps your opinion is based on a small sample size. Ron Paul had 1.2 million votes during the primary, I doubt you’ve met more than 120. That would be 0.001%.
When you say “nutcases” I’m assuming you are using the term as slang for insane. How were you able to ascertain their mental condition? What tests did you use? How long did it take you to carry out those tests? Were you able to complete them for every Ron Paul supporter you met?
McCain handled himself well. Hated the camera’s focus on the thug.
agreed
I went off him as soon as he said he wanted to get rid of the CIA, FBI, homeland etc etc etc
then one of his supporters told me they had no problem if a father marries his daughter or a woman marries a dog or has sex with animals
from that and seeing the actions of some of his supporters I rapidly lost interest in had a very certain view of him
from there it went down hill rapidly
thanks for that but ever thought to some you are wasting your time, they’ll never see the real world
"On September 2, 2008, Kokesh spoke at Rep. Ron Paul's Rally for the Republic in St. Paul, MN, where he stated: "While it is our responsibility now to resist tyranny civily, while we still can, there may come when we will say to the powers that be, be it with your blood or ours we have come to water the tree of liberty
who will stand with me?"
Hows the Kool-Aid?
Ron Paul knows how to hose the taxpayers, just like the rest of them.
In 2007 Paul received an embarrassing 29% on the Club for Growth’s RePORK Card, voting for only 12 of the 50 anti-pork amendments.
Some of the outrageous pork projects Paul voted to keep include $231,000 for the San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association’s Urban Center; $129,000 for the “perfect Christmas tree project;” $300,000 for the On Location Entertainment Industry Craft Technician Training Project in California; $150,000 for the South Carolina Aquarium; and $500,000 for the National Mule and Packers Museum in California. This year, Ron Paul requested more than sixty earmarks “worth tens of millions of dollars for causes as diverse as rebuilding a Texas theater, funding a local trolley, and helping his state’s shrimp industry.”
In defense of his support for earmarks, Rep. Paul took the if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em position, arguing that “I don’t think they should take our money in the first place. But if they take it, I think we should ask for it back.” This is a contradiction of Paul’s self-proclaimed “opposition to appropriations not authorized within the enumerated powers of the Constitution.”
Sounds like a simple & effective plan!
I got to confront that traitor once, he just shut up and let me go on
He is a loser, and I wish I body slammed him.
I tend not to drink sugary drinks. How does Ron Paul hose the taxpayer? Does he not vote against government spending? If the majority of Congress voted like Ron Paul would there be more government spending, less, or the same? What happens to money in the budget that is not allocated by the Congress? Does it go back to the taxpayer, or does it go to the executive branch for their discretionary use?
Do you need me to show you again.
If the majority of Congress voted like Ron Paul would there be more government spending, less, or the same?
Ron Paul placed #106, just above the democrats on voting for the 50 anti-pork amendments. He has his own huge wasteful pork projects. He's a porker just like the majority of the congress.
What happens to money in the budget that is not allocated by the Congress? Does it go back to the taxpayer, or does it go to the executive branch for their discretionary use?
By your logic then ALL congressman are off the hook.
Now, go away and quit making excuses for him.
It doesn't matter if he votes against it. As he gives his contributes a little wink, he puts them in bills he knows will pass (and as it was shown above in another post, he does, at times, vote for the pork). If more in congress had a record like Paul, it would most likely be the same. Paul has never once passed a bill that reduces the size of government. Phil Gramm said once that Ron Paul's bills never make it past committee because they are so poorly written and they contain absolutely no detail as to how to accomplish anything contained in the bill. What happens if the money goes in the budget but is not spent, simply put, it is not taken from the treasury. It is a myth it goes to the executive branch for 'discretionary' spending. The Executive branch cannot write spending bills, only Congress. There are unique bills that provide targeted discretionary spending (such as military spending bills- Constitutionally part of the Executive branch- Commander in Chief of the US Armed Forces.)
For example, if you have a budget for $40million for a farm bill, and after all the pork line items are added, and the budget is distributed, if $39million is the only amount that is spent, then next year's budget baseline is reduced to $39million. Each year, what is actually spent creates a budget baseline for the following year. Anyone who has ever worked for the government, especially in a contract position as I have, understands this. You are pretty much told to never go under budget to guarantee the following year's budget isn't reduced.
By adding pork to the budget, it increases that baseline year after year. Not adding pork to be spent, would reduce that baseline. Paul, being one of the biggest porkers in Texas, has very much a similar responsibility of the budget being the way it is.
His little game of giving a wink and symbolically voting against it is just that, symbolism. The substance is he is, like every other congressman, responsible for the actual money being added into the budget.
He is not the hero people like to make him out. His ACU Rating is the same as John McCain's and his rating with the Club for Growth is actually in the range of folks like Sheila Jackson Lee.
I really suggest you get past the symbolism of what he says and look at the substance of what he does and the results of his actions.
We know now that a lot of what he has preached over the years in his newsletters where not his thoughts but those of a ghostwriter (probably Lewellan Rockwell) and last week, it was disclosed his "Manifesto" book was even ghostwritten for him. He is simply a tool.
