Sen. Boxer Says Gov. Palin Is An 'Extremist'

Sen. Barbara Boxer says Sarah Palin's acceptance speech for the Republican vice presidential nomination was "laced with ridicule" and calls the Alaska governor an extremist.
At a Thursday meeting with transportation officials in Los Angeles, the Democratic senator told reporters that Palin's views are "way out of the mainstream." Boxer said Palin doesn't believe global warming is caused by human activities, is against abortion and opposed to stem cell research.
Palin's speech Wednesday in St. Paul, Minn., combined some of her beliefs, jokes about being a hockey mom, and attacks against Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.

Well, Senator, you are going to be sitting in the Senate chamber next year (and for four years) looking up at Vice President Palin presiding over the proceedings of your beloved Senate.
Get used to it.

I'm sure in Boxer's world and among her constituency, Governor Palin would be viewed as an extremist. Unfortunately for Boxer and her constituency, they should travel to middle America more (and not just Europe) and they would see for themselves that Palin's views and commonsense are exactly like those of the majority of American women.
Gay marriage, venomous hate for Bush, contempt for our country and military, and people demanding handouts are not popular in "Red" states.
Boxer doesn't realize that, in truth, she and her ilk are the extremists. It's time all those with commonsense, basic decency and a love of country stood up and reclaimed our country from those trying to push the always escalating Liberal agenda down our collective throats.

Just another sign of OMamas desperation..calling out the dimRAT women banshees to scream about Palin... That'll bring back the hockey Moms.
After Palin's speech the *universal* water-cooler chatter was "hey, she's one of US." This among the blue collar, the educated, the managers, all at once. Source: private conversations among everyone at work and at my wife's job, and their accounts of what their friends had said to them.
Cheers!

Sheesh. Incredible hypocrisy.

"Just when I think Pelosi is the stupidest woman in the world, here comes Babbling Boxer and proves me wrong." I hate to pick fights with fellow Freepers, but I will defend with my life the contention that Patty Murray is the stupidest woman in Washington DC by a long shot. Anybody wanna take me on?

Boxer is the extremist. While Palin is a patriotic, free-market, pro-gun, pro-business, pro-defense, principled optimist, Boxer is an anti-American, pro-big-government, anti-gun, antibusiness, anti-defense unprincipled pessimist.
I hope that clears things up! LOL

Just think, Babs, Sarah Palin will be President of the Senate when McCain is elected. Scares the bejeebers out of you (and every other RAT congresscritter), doesn’t it?

Senator Boxer is so far to the left that she is basically horizontal. There for anyone to her right would seem extreme to her...
But the real point should be who gives a rats patoot what this moron says about anything?

Republics are created by the virtue, public spirit, and intelligence of the citizens. They fall, when the wise are banished from the public councils, because they dare to be honest, and the profligate are rewarded, because they flatter the people, in order to betray them.
