VP hopeful Palin attended 5 colleges in 6 years
Guilty, as charged. Oh, she's beautiful, all right. But she's not one of... them.
The John Kerrys of the world just shake their heads, and in the process imperil their $200 haircuts as they sneer in derision. But the rest of us, out here in Flyover Country, think she's terrific and could not give a hoot in hell or a flying fuss what the media men with soft hands and manicured nails think.
I'm thinking there's a "class" angle on this. Upper class people get into Harvard and go there for four years. The rest of us jump around a bit. But even so, I knew students who took their junior year abroad and some who did an exchange year at an American university. It's not like they couldn't compete. They just wanted to try something different.
that would be priceless
i saw a pic of sarah holding something, and they focused on her hands, she’s got great nails too

Oh no. I love raw chocolate chip cookie dough.
First my mom and now my wife have warned me about eating
it-something about the raw eggs.
Still I sneak it when I can.
that is interesting that someone with the intellect and full of ideas, doesn’t write in the journal
every blowhard wants to be published in “the havard law review”
Absolutely. I didn’t mean to suggest otherwise.
LOL Love it!
Maverick and Moose!
LOL! These people are so pathetic; every time they open their mouths, they show what world they come from and what they think of the rest of us.
This could be looked at as a plus- it shows perseverance.
I agree. It appears to me as if there aren't any real breaks in her college career other than the Spring of 1984. With the shabby reporting (Note that there are only four colleges and five academic years unless you believe that the University of Idaho is not the University of Idaho after she spent a semester at a college in Alaska!), it is quite possible that she was enrolled in North Idaho or in the University of Idaho or had some reason for not being enrolled in college.
It appears to me as if Sarah Palin began studying business administration in Hawaii and did not want to be a business major. She then transferred to North Idaho College and majored in General Studies before transferring to the University of Idaho.
F82: Hawaii Pacific University, Business Administration
S83: North Idaho College, General Studies
F83: North Idaho College, General Studies
S84: No college listed
F84: University of Idaho, Journalism (?).
S85: University of Idaho, Journalism (?).
F85: Matanuska-Susitna College, Journalism (?)
S86: University of Idaho, Journalism
F86: University of Idaho, Journalism
S87: University of Idaho, Journalism
Despite changing majors twice, a not uncommon event, Sarah Palin graduated in 9 semesters vice the more standard eight. My conclusion from that piece of information is that she must have done well in college. If she was not a good student, you would not have seen her graduate at age 22.
OMG, you mean she didn’t spend 4 years at Skull & Bones?
Heaven forfend!
Will the Republic survive?
with every open of their mouth they show how empty their remarks and their head are
exactly, middle america experience
Transfered. Quickly realized that I hated that one too and, furthermore, I'd hate the next and the next and next, as well.
So, I focused my energy on plagiarism and cramming techniques.
Less than a decade later, my Academic Counselor told me I graduated, so jumped in my bad car, forthwith, laying down a prodigious patch of rubber emanating from my smokin’ tires, lest the aforementioned A.C., upon further examination, determined his claim to me to be untrue.
"Five" schools counts the University of Idaho twice. She started out in Hawaii for a semester, came back to the MUCH less expensive North Idaho College in Coeur d'Alene (about 40 miles south of Sandpoint, where she was born). That's a two-year school. Last June the NIC Alums named her the recipient of their 2008-2009 Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award. Transferred to the U of I in '84 to complete a 4-year degree in journalism. That was broken by a semester in Matanuska-Susitna College in Palmer, Alaska in fall 1985. Finished at the U of I in '87.
If there's anything there but a small-town girl trying to get the best education she could afford I'd love to know what. Nobody here (the U of I) remembers her, but that was over 20 years ago.
it will only survive if sarah and john are elected
lol
