While the majority of Thursdays CBS Early Show coverage of Sarah Palins convention speech was positive, at the top of the 8am hour, co-host Maggie Rodriguez talked to Palins sister, Heather Bruce, and asked: "There's been a lot of talk this weekend about family, talk that family is off limits in a campaign. Yet we see your sister with her kids, introducing them, showing them on camera, and she even mentioned you in her speech last night. So the question is, is it okay to use family in a campaign when it benefits the candidate and not okay when it's negative?"

The Drive By Media intend to attack the Palin family, with or without an excuse.
The way they are being “used” is that they simply exist as examples of what a God-fearing family looks like.
This is like turning on a light in a room and having all the creatures of the night attacking it because it hurts their eyes.
John 3:20
They hate the light because they want to sin in the darkness. They stay away from the light for fear their sins will be exposed and they will be punished.
This is so great, because you can just hear the post mortems now. These same rabid animals who pounced on Sarah will be analyzing "where we went wrong" nine ways to Sunday, and what's even cooler, the Dems won't be happy about their newspapers and media, because not only will the media be blamed for the loss because of how badly they jumped on Sarah, they will also be scorned for just how flat out factually wrong they were. LMAO!! Keep it up, boyz and girlz!!
When you think about it, had the attack hordes NOT jumped on, it would be just about an even race. But they just couldn't help themselves! They could not resist their need to be first with the rumormongering. And it will end up biting them in the a** so bad it will ignite a massive short covering rally in the secondary rectal market.
Gloat gloat gloat!!
What a moron. What about Obama’s use of his kids at the convention? Everyone has their family there, but that doesn’t mean the media should start investigating Obama’s little girls.
Well put.
What a moron Rodriquez is. Politicians have been trotting their families out forever. Did that make them fair game? Are they supposed to hide them away and if anyone sees them they can then attack them?
So, when vicious, unfounded attacks are made, and then the children are introduced to dispell those on going claims, somehow that makes the kids fair game?
Never OK to attack the children.
Lord, have mercy.
I guess she’d say it was OK to go after Obama’s kids. He’s introduced them numerous times and even used one of them as a prop in his convention (what city are you in now daddy? Does anyone think that was really unscripted like Sarah Palin’s youngest daughter slicking down the baby’s hair or her trying to get the other kids to stand up?). If anyone went after Obama’s kids this same “reporter” would scream bloody murder. I put reporter in “” because the proper term is Democratic Activist working to elect Barack Obama.
Somepne needs to start asking Michele Obama why, if she is a supporter of public education and teachers unions why she sends her daughters to private school.
This is one slimy cBS b@#$h.
If I am not mistaken I seem to remember that it was Obama itself that declared family out of bounds...twice in fact. But, I guess it was just a warning.
Well there you go.
I’m sick of these arrogant idiots & their double standard.
CBS is still around? Who knew?
