Once McCain accepts the nomination he's locked into that stupid public financing crap that he himself supported. Now is the time contribute to the campaign and make plans to work in this year's 72 hour push. We have made our feelings known about him and that is now in the past. We made our feelings known about Ridge and Lieberman and the rest, and he listened. Now's time to get to work to elect the McCain/Palin ticket and a conservative Congress for them to work with.

This Lady is impressive; I can now pull the lever for our Republican Nominee that walks like a Democrat. I had been planning to write in Newt on Nov, 4, unless the guy that has stabbed me in the back so many times with his crappy (McCain/Kennedy immigration reform) and sometimes unconstitutional legislation (McCain/Feingold - campaign finance reform) made a smart VP pick - he has.
McCain doesn’t want me to have any ANWR oil for my 100 mile per day commute, Maybe Governor Palin can beat some sense into McCain.

Mark Levin said yesterday that McCain came through for Conservatives so its time for us to come through for him. I would have to agree. I still don’t like him but, this VP pick really does change things. And the fact still remains that McCain is still better by far than Obama.
I’ve been in favor of Mrs Palin for a long time. Since I found out who she was. She will add class and beleif in this political team. I will back them.

If he is still gonna push the Amnesty line and the whole God’s children thing on Immigrants.

But once the McCain/Palin ticket is elected, sparing us from the nightmare of an Obama/Biden administration, it will still be our job to hold McCain accountable.

While I am delighted that Palin has been chosen, McCain still has many a stand with which I do not agree. He did not suddenly become a conservative and we would be wise to remember that.
I'm waiting for his speech to make a judgment on where he intends to take his candidacy. Palin has been one shining moment among a bunch of wrong-headed speeches he's made to this point.
Until McCain states for the record; I will close the borders, arrest and deport illegals, and absolutely NO amnesty — I will not vote for him. That has been my stance since before he was nominated, and it will not change. I write in me for POTUS. Vote DEVANE617 in ‘08!

Excellent post. Let the traitors or Koolaid drinkers on this site continue the attacks on McCain. We have got to get serious in a number of states, especially Ohio.
Agree. The only thing we should be working on from here on in is getting the ticket elected. There’ll be plenty of time afterwards to hold McCain to the fire on those issues where we part company.
This is the last day to make a monetary contribution to the campaign. Let's let Nobama know what we thought of his convention and class warfare, proto-marxist, rant at Invesco field by sending a contribution to America's team.
