Palin being a conservative will not cause him to change his position on amnesty for illegal aliens, supporting the fallacy of human induced global warming etc... On the contrary, Presidential candidates choose their running mates because the VP candidate agrees with the Presidential candidate on an overwhelming majority of the issues.
