Orange County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the Anthony home shortly before 8:30 p.m. More than half dozen vehicles - some marked and some unmarked - pulled up to the house. The lead detective - Yuri Melich - got out and went inside the home.
Moments later, the door cracked open, showing Casey Anthony inside standing near Sgt. John Allen, who is supervising the investigation. The crowd who was gathered outside cheered. Someone yelled, "she's in handcuffs."
At 8:33 p.m., deputies escorted her out with her hands cuffed behind her back. She showed little emotion as detectives put her in the front of an unmarked patrol car.
She was wearing a t-shirt with Caylee's picture on the front and read "Have you seen me?"
Some in the crowd yelled "murderer" and "baby killer."

Headline News (Grace's substitute) saying she was arrested on the charges of the stolen checks and credit card of her alleged friend, who finally filed charges, and NOT on the Caylee issue

Investigation is ongoing, but it sounds as if she could be bailed out relatively easily, sadly. New charges seem minor: petty theft, and two others.
Prayers for that sweet innocent child, and justice is served.
That poor little baby with such beautiful big eyes...this is very sad and horrific. I have no sympathy for Casey, she must be a sociopath as she seems to only care about herself and I have to wonder about her parents too.
Casey Anthony arrested again in Orlando
— Orange County Sheriff Deputies arrested Casey Anthony Friday night and charged her with multiple white-collar crimes.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office spokesman, Captain Angelo Nieves, Anthony was charged with forgery, theft, and using fraudulent information.
Anthony was released last week when bounty hunter Leonard Padilla posted her bail. Padilla says Anthony may return because he is concerned for her safety. Reports on Wednesday that samples taken from Casey Anthony’s car indicate that, at some point, there was a decomposing body in the trunk.

Cops have video surveillance of Casey actually using the stolen checks (about $700, which wiped out her friend’s checking account) at a Target store and another business.
Damn, I must have been asleep for a while or something. Didn’t realize she’d been convicted of murder, or even charged. OK so she is most likely a murdering sociopath, I’d just like to see some charges and maybe, I don’t know, a conviction.
Casey also received a birthday check from her grandmother, and she took the routing # off the check and used it to drain some $$ out that as well ... her own grandmother. What a bum ... it’s really sounding like drugs.
It’s 3 minor charges ... nothing to do with Caylee except the fraudulent information given to the police ( I’m fairly sure that’s how they described that charge ).
Wait, take your time, build an airtight case, arrest them, let them spend three nights in jail on no bond, they will cut a deal.
I am not here to defend Casey and she seems to have some relationship to the disappearance of her child;but, this is just a unjustified effort to screw with her. There is a $500,000 bond posted and these added charges may be bogus. $500,000 is plenty of security and the cops should have called her attorney so she could turn herself in. Where was she going to go and hide? Nowhere, that’s where.

NEW CHARGES DETAILED
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County sheriff’s deputies arrived at the Anthony family home Friday evening and arrested Casey Anthony on charges of forgery, theft and using fraudulent information.
Investigators showed up at the family’s home about 8:30 p.m. They led Casey out in handcuffs to the cheers of waiting protestors.
The charges stem from allegations Casey took money, possibly from family or friends. Investigators say they have images of Casey using checks at stores around Orlando.
“She had used names and checks in an account that didn’t belong to her,” said Capt. Angelo Nieves of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Anthony was being held on a $3,000 bond Friday night. The family would have to post $300 to get her out of jail if a judge agrees to that bond amount. Routinely, inmates would appear before a judge around 11:30 a.m., Saturday morning.
Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, released a statement that said, “This is nothing more than an attempt by law enforcement to play mind games with my client. They leaked the arrest to the media and deliberately avoided telling me so she could turn herself in, in a dignified fashion. They clearly wanted the media to capture my client in the worse possible light. Coincidentally, I was on the phone with her when police arrived at her home to arrest her What’s clear is that law enforcement is more interested in making my client look bad than finding Caylee who’s still missing and likely in danger.” Anthony was being held on a $3,000 bond Friday night. The family would have to post $300 to get her out of jail if a judge agrees to that bond amount. Routinely, inmates would appear before a judge around 11:30 a.m., Saturday morning.
The evening’s events unfolded after a tense and volatile day at the family’s home. Protesters showed up early Friday evening, demanding Casey go back to jail. However, the protests referred to charges Casey Anthony already faces related to the disappearance of her young daughter, Caylee.
Friday was the 45th day since Caylee Anthony was reported missing and early in the morning, it appeared the bounty hunter who had helped bond Casey out of jail on the original charges was ready to revoke that bond and send her back behind bars. But he and Casey’s attorney worked out a deal just before noon Friday and Casey did not go back to jail then. Also Friday, subpoenas were issued to the Anthony family telling them they may have to testify in a trial scheduled to start on November 17.
A group is planning to search Saturday for Caylee’s body near Orlando International Airport and more protesters are expected to come to Casey’s house Friday night.
George Anthony hit the roof Friday afternoon when two protesters set up camp right in front of his home, throwing chairs and yelling. George’s pastor had to hold him back as he unloaded on two men who set up chairs and an umbrella in his card. They came to the house hoping to see Casey hauled back to jail.
“We’re just here to watch her be arrested,”
As evidence mounts that Caylee is dead, the Anthony family seems to have no end of conspiracy theories. They blame everyone but Casey.
“Maybe someone put a body in the car after it was towed to the tow yard. Why don’t you talk to them about their security?” Cindy Anthony said Thursday evening.
The building drama is even making drama-king Leonard Padilla nervous for the media.
“I don’t want you guys sitting there talking to Cindy when she’s got a hammer in her hand,” Padilla said Friday morning.
Padilla also fears for Casey as she travels back an forth from her attorney’s office.
“I think somebody can take a shot at her,” Padilla said.
There’s also word from the Internet that more protesters are coming to the Anthony house Friday night. Internet chatter is rampant that Casey will have a large crowd that will insist she be taken back to jail.
Well geuss she won’t be partying with her peeps with her dopey hand gestures.
If she’s not gonna help find her missing kid, it’s better for the investigation to have her locked up.
There is one easy way to avoid all this sideshow, and it’s for her to help.
Absent that, I hope they do this to her every day...one itty bitty charge at a time.
Casey is a sociopath and the parents make me crazy..I have no hope Caylee is alive..I just want her found and justice done.
I was so disappointed this arrest was for these charges..I had hoped it was connected to Caylee..Casey will be out on bond again in no time at all.
The added charges are not bogus..They have her on videotape forging her friend’s checks.
My theory is that she left the child in the car in the heat and the little girl died of heatstroke. She probably panicked and buried her.
The coverup will get her a murder charge.
No big deal. She just can’t remember where she left her daughter. Time for her to move.on
You are right. This will severely cut into her party-time.
I believe that her wierdo mother (Kaylee's GM) has a lot of at least knowledge of, if not some actual involvement with the disappearance/death of Kaylee.
Yeah, unfortunately for the little one. It just sucks.
She’s probably safer in jail.
